MS Wireless headset connects directly to the console while wired headset connects to the controller. Either way will work. In XIM1, the only option is wireless.

As legion.of.phreakz said, it works. It may be obvious but always check to make sure you have the wired headset unplugged from the controller. The wireless is properly synced and is assigned to player 1. Make sure the light on the wireless headset is lit to "1" which is the first round light from the tip of the mic. It's easy to over look these things. I can assure you that the xim360 works fine with the wireless headset.

Or start all over again and reconfigure your wireless headset connection. Press the connect button on xbox, then press and hold the connect button on your wireless headset.

I have tryed it all and my wired headset is disconnected. But it always says that my wired headset is connected, so I can't connect my wireless headset. Something is wrong with my xim360 I think  :(

Yeah you're controller is messed up.  You should contact ShippingGuy about this.
