Is there going to be a fix for windows 8.1 so we can download to the XIM again?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately we aren't closer to a fix at this moment.

from what I'm gathering the other responses I got was pretty much is not going to be done and it seems like all the hype is about the new XIM 4 instead of fixing this problem. I really hope that when the new XIM4 comes out that the support does not just drop off for this device

That's how everything was for me in Widnows 8.1 - Video Drivers, games etc. I didn't even get to test the XIM Manager before I formatted. I was impressed how unstable 8.1 was, reminded me of Windows back in their ME days lol.

Just put together a build last week. Still on Win 8, but I get these bothersome popups abt. 8.1. I'm aware of this XIM issue so I haven't updated. (Plus, I'm using ClassicShell, so I don't need to, LOL).

Guess no workaround posted here (other than abc123 somehow getting it to work). I'll continue to stick with my old win7 for XIM mgr updates then.
Loadout: kb = Rantopad with Gateron red switches (model RT101-0005); m = g403; PS4 controllers = official; XIM =  XIM4

Sorry everyone for the delay. Unforutnately, it looks like it may be something that requires a bootloader change (which none of you have done before and can brick your device forever is something goes wrong). We will look for solutions that don't require this as we bring up the XIM4 beta.

What worked for me was running XIM Manager in Win 7 compatibility Mode. And running as administrator. After I did that it works just fine for me.
