Wow, I tried it and well - this is a TOUGH project for XIM to tackle.

The dev's made it crap tastic and it's not very nice.

I'll post what I used, but that DZ is crap crap crap. This *Might* be a lost cause, I spent less than 5 minutes, but I could tell this is a "Special" case this time.

I'll post more later when I find something that is actually worth a @#$%. If not, I'll post "Screw this, it's not worth it"

stand by.

This game is sounding like a good case to prove that a crap game is a crap game no matter what. From everything I've read, it's just a rehash of the 1st one with no major improvements. Seems like it was just put together to get some cash with as little overhead as possible.

Probably best to just enjoy the first one. I don't own either game, but might purchase 1 since the price is dropping, no sense buying the 2nd.

The first one was great, played it on the PC and liked the storyline and the gameplay.

We should start a thread posting what works and what doesn't (Game wise that is and give it a rating) We would have to compare them to the COD4 Standard. Something like this

XIM Games

COD4               9.5  (Almost PC Like)
HALO 3              8   (Some issues with fixed weapons and vehicles)
Half Life 2          7   (Some issues while turning)

ECT

It isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I guess reading all the bad stuff here I thought it would be unworkable.

The only caveat is the controller acceleration. That is what throws me off, i.e. when moving the mouse and the controller acceleration kicks in moving the mouse too rapidly. IT can be real bad sometimes, but not too bad that it takes away from the game. Maybe I will have a second opinion after I play this game online.

Btw, what are your in-game settings for the controller? I have everything maxed out at ten and it feels reasonably good.

I have a 3200 dpi mouse, only played the R6V2 for a small amount of time but I thought the controls with XIM were just as good as COD4. I play R6V2 on the PS3 though.....

I also thought the game was hard to play and did not really enjoy it at all.  Nothing like COD4 when it comes to fun.

I don't have this game (I wasn't planning on getting it), but, I'm really curious as to why it is so incredibly bad.

Does it feel like its deadzone is hard to map? Is its look acceleration really bad? Does the ingame sensitivty not let you go high enough?

I'll get the game for you if you want to test it? I think if there is a setting that lets the max input we maybe can clip all values that would normally put into over accel mode. Like a max dead zone.

For me it is the game's controller acceleration that makes it difficult. It is not similar to cod4 where it moves like a pc mouse -- no slow then rapid movements, just smooth. So if you are turning around quick, it will start slow then move too fast to control overshooting the target.

So if that helps. If you need any more info, please post here. God bless.
