The Last of Us (temporary profile?)

Just wondering if anyone out there has played The Last of Us demo or has the game now? And obviously, what gaming profile are you using before the official support is ready?

UC3 / UC2 / etc? Settings?

I am dying to play this MP and am trying to prepare ahead of time so I can set up my XIM-Edge now and be ready to jump online immediately on June 14th. I know we can wait for the official release but this is more of a plan B for the time being. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I've just bought the game but sadly I'm at work for the next 6 hours.

I'm having trouble with this game.   I didn't have much time to look at it, but I quickly tested it with the Uncharted 3 profile with In-game Sensitivity set to Max.  It seemed to work nice and felt pretty "PC like" except the targeting reticule slows WAAAAY down when its near an enemy.  So if I aim at a wall things feel almost 1:1, but as soon as I try to aim at a zombie the camera slows down and I feel like my mouse is moving through molasses which sucks.   :-[  I ended up just putting the game on Easy and enabling Auto Aim because I hate gamepads, lol.

I found that the MW3 configuration is actually working pretty nicely for it.

 I ended up just... enabling Auto Aim...

Sounds like it may have something to do with Auto-Aim, though seems weird if it happened to you with it Off. Tried it in MP; same issue? Thx for any updates.

Thx! At least there is something to start with. Would you or anyone mind confirming a few buttons for MP-mode? I know most, but am not sure about Triangle, Circle (pick up) but also crouch??, and Square (melee?).

That's promising actually, the CoD look mechanic is much better than what Naughty Dog used in the Uncharted series.

I am using a modded MW3 build thanks!! The only thing is that I have my ADS at 100 sens and my hip at about 400

Not sure about multi player, but in single player Triangle is pickup (as well as interact), circle is crouch, and square is melee. Also L2 is run, and X is hop over stuff / craft when in craft menu etc.

OK. I tried different variations of COD profiles but didnt feel quite smooth to me. So I tried my leftover BF3 profiles and one of them worked pretty well.

So I am using my BF3 chopper profile, which is a bit faster than my infantry. Not sure if that will help anyone out but seems to be OK for me, for now. I kept my hipfire the same but lowered ADS.

Here's the Ballistics and sensitivities I am using.  I had to go high sens as I'm using a low DPI Logitech MX518 (1600 DPI).  Do the math and figure your best sens settings if you are using a higher DPI mouse. 

I need to order another Razer...  Anyway hope it helps.

ubtri, if you have an Edge we have the ST in beta right now. If you want to test it out before it's released to the public see below.

Go to profile, modify profile, group membership, request rc tester status. Once approved, a new subforum named "Release Candidates" will unlock under the XIM3/Edge->Downloads section. There you will find new builds that are in beta. We only ask that you leave feedback for whatever you may be testing.

Sorry this one is taking so long, I had to go back and retrain ADS once someone pointed out that you could remove sway by spending skill points to remove it. It was just put out one or two days ago so once we have a few more people leave feedback we can release it to everyone else.
