Bc 2 servers down for a while now..

I bought the ultimate edition last week to get all the content, and its multiplayer rocks, so i decide to buy vietnam with some points i got at best buy ( they are running a sale i got 2000 points for 20$) 1600+400

After i buy it on friday early sat morning i havent been able to connect to a multiplayer game.
I finally get an answer from @battlefield saying they are working on the issue. Never got an answer from EA...Ive never seen servers down for so long before, on any game.

Q is, are they planning on shutting down servers? Cuz that would suck, bc i feel like bc2>bf3, such a great game

And it sucks i havent even got to play vietnam it looks so awesome

I liked BC2 more too because of the better map design. But if they're shut down permanently it'll say so.

when bc2 launched you could login to your ea acount on ea through your xbl account
there you where able to set your preference region for bc2 matchmaking system
maybe it still works that way, change your region to a different country or continent and see if it works

Wait what?...... Like link the accounts?

you create an account on the ea main page and connect it to your xbl account
then you can choose in the settings what server region you prefer to be put in

i had to change that when bc2 launched as shortly after the launch, the servers of my country had some issues
changed to those from a neighbourcountry until everything was sorted out

again this is more than a year ago now, i dont know if this still works or if its actually doable now

I know exactly what your talking about bc i can see it in bf3 just cant find it in bc 2...

Bfbcs.com shows that 360 servers are down global

Yet on the right side it shows 360 players updated... Dont get it lol

They are back up.... All weekend they were down.... But holy crap vietnam rocks lol..... I wish i had this game on launch

This games got me hooked like bf3 did at first.

Bad company 2s gameplay is very unique, one of the best shooters ive ever played.
and to me all battlefield titles own Cod,ill throw 1943 in front of black ops, any day lol.....

 it makes me almost puke to see that they are doing 1,000,000$
 championships for cod.... Then the teams that are on top look like a bunch of 16 yr olds. And that says A lot

Halo, and dice own the industry for money well spent, in my eyes.
Cod may own sales, but their games arent quality
