I just want to know.  If I go and upgrade my Internet to 50mbs down or 105 down.   Is this going to be a viable solution?   I'm wired directly to my router(dgl-4500). Nothing is connected to my router but my phone and Xbox.

I'd say the only inconsistency with my connection is the fact I live in an apartment.   I'm sure my Internet is shared per unit.. Which is about 10 apartments per pole.

Your connection speed is irrelevant the hosts connection is the determining factor.

Too bad English 1 isn't on that list of certifications....

"Lag Comp: An organized intelligent argument."

I think the only explanation anyone needs is in the denkirson post.

The summary of which is simply play with as local a lobby as possible.

If you're up at some stupid hour sat in front of your pc in your underpants chances are your lobby is spread across continent or world, the only way to help alleviate this is to play with a party of as local people as possible. The last part is my understanding, but not a concrete one.

Regardless of qualifications, experience, player ability or forum rage post ability, I think it's important not to buy in to the current blame lag comp for every death, loss, thing.

So many people are running around like headless chickens and getting murdered for their haste, so many people are running around solo, and getting murdered by the more social among us. Half the videos on youtube with anecdotal evidence are people getting shot because they don't even understand field of view and no idea how to even doorway. Even half the ximmer videos we see posted have sense up to a degree they can't control.

To the people blaming lag comp and wanting a fix, there isn't a fix because there isn't a problem. Shoot a friend request to the next guy in your lobby pushing your @#$% in and see where he is, I expect if you're not being outskilled then you are on the losing side of the same game mechanics that have been in play for 6 years.

Haven't read, but how many posts have their been like this?

E-thug says, "Lol if you  think lag comp is tuned badly u r a noob cuz every game haz lag compz LOL! IF YOU DON"T HAVE IT U R DUMB AND UR GAME IS BROKEN LOL!  you should quit BO's 2 cuz u r bad...."

Reasonable person A: "bro... We aren't asking them to remove lag comp... we aren't brain dead monkeys, we want the tuning of it to be adjusted and improved..."

Ethug says, "LOL BRO JUST QUIT BO'S U R OBVIOUSLY BAD AT IT! LOL!"

This thread won't end well.

No, you are the first person to bring it up once again.

If you read the post you'll learn that the reason this cod is laggier than older ones is because recently the new NSA supercomputer was completed and all internet traffic secretly flows through it.

Moderators, please give Zacharybinx34 a warning.

The simple fact that lag comp is in the title dictates that this whole thread is a waste of time, Let alone that it should be organized or intellegent.

Tuff should feel special that he's in my sig.

I know I feel special that I've been mis-quoted in Boat's
I swear to god I will bring forth a rage so complete in it's fury that your innards would boil from the sheer amount of energy pouring from your monitor.

Rook said everything that can be said.
