"Lag Comp: An organized intelligent argument."
I think the only explanation anyone needs is in the denkirson post.
The summary of which is simply play with as local a lobby as possible.
If you're up at some stupid hour sat in front of your pc in your underpants chances are your lobby is spread across continent or world, the only way to help alleviate this is to play with a party of as local people as possible. The last part is my understanding, but not a concrete one.
Regardless of qualifications, experience, player ability or forum rage post ability, I think it's important not to buy in to the current blame lag comp for every death, loss, thing.
So many people are running around like headless chickens and getting murdered for their haste, so many people are running around solo, and getting murdered by the more social among us. Half the videos on youtube with anecdotal evidence are people getting shot because they don't even understand field of view and no idea how to even doorway. Even half the ximmer videos we see posted have sense up to a degree they can't control.
To the people blaming lag comp and wanting a fix, there isn't a fix because there isn't a problem. Shoot a friend request to the next guy in your lobby pushing your @#$% in and see where he is, I expect if you're not being outskilled then you are on the losing side of the same game mechanics that have been in play for 6 years.
