Configuring the Nav controller with Xim Edge.

Hello, I have had a search around on the forum, but can't seem to find any help, can anyone point me to where I could learn about configuring the Move Navigation controller with my Xim Edge.

There is a ton of stuff on here about setting up and configuring the Nav (I use one, thanks to Tuffrabit's suggestion).

What exactly do you want to know?

Once you do have it setup properly and running, I have a nice button layout pic I made that you could use.

Everything, really, I have the nav plugged into the xim edge's kb slot, and the edge manager open with the black ops 2 ps3 config open, but have no idea what to do next.

OK, I went through all of this myself a week or so ago so I'll try and help you out.

I'm going to give you a pic of how I set it up in the XIM manager and a pic of where those buttons are.

If you don't like my setup you can always tweak it to your liking.

Here is how I set mine up as far as button binds/assignments go...



And here is how it would be if you're looking at your mouse and Nav setup (I use a G9x).



Make sure you set your movement to Analog (Joystick) for your Nav before you start binding your buttons in the manager.

I see you're on PS3 and mine is for the 360 but it basically plays out the same. Hope it helps a bit, good luck.

Yup, I configured it, and found button for each action, now do I click OK and close then plug it into the ps3 and my controller into the edge along with my mouse and nav controller?

Yes click OK, then Save and Exit, it will tell you when it has finished saving your modifications (you'll see a percentage counter go up to 100%). It will then come out with a notification telling you it's ok to disconnect the XIM from your pc.

Plug your controller on the far left, the mouse in the middle and the Nav on the right. Turn on your PS3 then plug in your Xim to the usb cord provided once you fire it up.

Assuming you already have the usb plugged into your PS3 before you turned it on of course.

You should be all set.
