The EDGE may be able to be configured to use a lot of colors, but I guarantee you that
1) the device LEDs won't be able to display them,
2) you won't be able to tell the difference between all of the ones the device may be able to display, and
3) the printer you use to print the cheat sheet won't match the color spectrum of the LEDs that the EDGE is using to display the configs.

Lastly, I'm being silly here, but there is a mild point to this.. but where is OBsIV's sense of responsibility to the environment?  Shouldn't he be shying away from supporting the killing of trees to support his product?  <grin>

The colored LEDs may not help perfectly 100% of the time, but then again that is just a confirmation system. The device theoretically could be without the LEDs and still work fine as long as there is no user error. The LEDs are there just to guide you to help avoid such errors, as well as give you a direction on how to fix the error (mostly talking about config editing here).

*Edit:  once you do switch a config.. how do you even know what config you're in?  simply by color being displayed?  How many colors can the device display?  At least how many that a user would easily distinguish between visually?  Also would users need to now keep color printed cheat sheets to know which configs are set to which colors to know which they are on?

I dont think that’s a problem I know what config I am on the G700 and there are only three one colored leds displaying. It will work youll see.

May be if you choose a very distinguishable color like red or dark blue for your start up ST then you can use that as a reference for the others while cycling thru them.

What does the smart ballistics do on the Edge? I got the GT Max Adaptor for my Xim3 for playing COD on PS3. Should i get the Xim Edge?
