Its much more than no GTMax, remember that XIM3 had perfect synchronization between all your input devices, the controller, and the console. Edge does the same for PS3 now. Turns out PS3 runs at a slightly lower rate than Xbox for controller polling (100Hz vs. 125Hz). XIM3 assumes that it's talking to an Xbox. GTMax would convert 100Hz to 125Hz. Edge does no such thing so you don't have that timing mismatch. In fact, the suggested poll rate for your mouse will be different if you are using your Edge on an Xbox or a PS3 because of this difference. This is all documented in the Instruction Manual which I'll release at a later time.
