That part of the equation is something you'll need to fix for it to work.  So whatever PS to USB adapter you're using needs to be replaced ASAP.

So you think the problem will be the connector even though the controller didn't work with the xfps via the ps port?

your welcome. too bad its impossible to find the sammy grip v.2 anywhere. that one has an analog stick. i read you can also use the fragfx frag chuck. that would be more comfortable.

I emailed the UK distributor and got this reply....

"Dear Ken

Okay you can't get these anywhere anymore no company makes them or has them.
We however are making our own version of these which should be ready about
March.

These controllers will be basically the exact same as the ones on the
website.

wait, did it come with any type of software drivers? You will need to be able to get the controller working on the PC first. if its just an after market controller for the ps3 there might be drivers out there, as a few are using ps3 controllers on the PC.

There is a floppy disc containing software that came with the ps to pc adaptor...but the controller works fine without it.....it is detected by Xpadder as well. :)

The software is only for mapping keys, like xpadder. bit its weak, like joy2key

Yeah I didn't bother with the floppy....xpadder seems to be very versatile....I'm also looking for some similar software to use with a mouse.....just can't fathom autohotkey....want something with a simpler interface for remapping mouse keys making macros which will include mouse movements but for a mouse rather than a game controller...any idea's

eople in the autohotkey forum are very helpfull. ask specifically what you are trying to do. most likey, someone will write you a script and post it.
