8) Take out your battery from the Playstation Move Navigation Controller. I did it it's easy. It still works with the xim3 it's lighter more comfortable best thing I did. Other than buying the xim3 ;D

Just so you know what youíre getting out of this.
With the battery the Nav weight is 91.7g without 72.8g so the battery is only 18.9g which is all most an OZ and it's made a hell of a differents with long hours of play. :o And point by mist4fun "eliminates the sync issues when the nav is low on battery life."

kk I didnít use utube I am a phone technician so I just took it apart  ::) soz kk I will do pic's

So four small Phillips screws latter tilt the bottom of the Nav to the right. Mind the blue cable.

You can now pull on it close to the board and unplug it from the board.

Now take off the bottom plastic piece off bear in mind there is a lip so lift up and away from the device. Be careful.

Then move the mini circuit board away it can dangle.

Get a small flat screwdriver and leaver the battery connector out slowly going from the left to the right this is tight so go careful.

All I can say about putting it back together is the reset button if it fools out then the flat part goes on the button. The angled bit the high point goes next the battery case.

And when putting the small board back inshore the wires are where they were in the first place.

Oh and the bottom plastic with the lip can be a pain to get back on so again go easy.

Hope this helps  8)

EDIT: WOOT first ever take apart walkthrough done :-[ so I hope it's all good any Q's or mistakes just ask or say so.

it was also very easy to do u tube FTW!  :P

and ty guys

Wish that vid was out when I tried it months ago. I cracked it open too forcefully and tore the ribbon/wire setup connecting buttons to the mini-mobo. Ruined it. So be careful.

Cool this should eliminate the sync issues when the nav is low on battery life. Keep the battery around in case we ever get bluetooth support.

I did a quick search on youtube and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN2tnTOXzHc the Nav starts at 3:24. It's not super helpful but it's something.

OP please share your youtube source.

Thanks RedTalon, that is basically what I needed...

4 small Phillips screws and beware of the blue flat cable when you open it. From there it is a small power connector to unplug. Not sure if the board will have to be removed to get at that plug though :/

just tried to do this, but gave up once i opened it. My battery came off easily, but it is glued to a rubber band. what now, just tear it away? and the bottom part just doesnt come off easily :S i lifted it up, and then pulled away, but all i see is the motherboard bending :S
