Used Zen's settings with mist's deadzone and it seemed excellent. Certainly good enough to hold us over until the retail release and corresponding ST is released. Thanks :)

I'll set up a config switch with both and compare. If I prefer I'll update the OP with mists deadzone.

There is very little acceleration, pretty much no aim assist, and weirdness added to the movement in the BF3 Beta.  It's the flattest movement I've ever seen in an XBox 360 game.  I guess that's what happens with a quick and sloppy PC port.

Zen's settings with Mist's deadzone works the best so far for me.  Better than the Reach ST by far.  Very linear movement, very fast, very snappy.  Love it.

Not saying that an ST wouldn't be better, but tweaking this set up more, will likely get it 90-95% of the way there.
XIM4 + Run and Gun = Fun.

Using Zenīs config and 5700dpi on the mouse which sensitivity values are you guys using assuming that the game sensitivity is set to max?
Thanks.

The sensitivity in-game is always set to max. always assume this when viewing configs. On the xim 3 try sens around 12.00.

Another thank you to Zen.  Your settings work well for me.  The primary reason for me getting the Xim was to be "sharp" for BF3.  I've only had my Xim for a very short while, but couldn't be happier.  And a large part of that satisfaction comes from great community support like Zen provided.
Love my XIM3, XIM Edge, and XIM4

I've seen the most success with mist's deadzone setting.
I like to make very fine movements with my mouse, and the 4916 deadzone gives me better success with this.

Props Zen, I'm using your exact settings with the default sensitivity of the BF:BC2 translator and it is fantastic.

Zen, congrats on the standard trans, it works awesome!  I am using mists deadzone as well, my xim sens is at 12 for hip, 15 for ads and it works great!  Played for 4 hours and never changed a thing once i got my sens dialed in.

Again zen, thanks for the time and effort, well worth it!

Tried the 4916 config on a switcher so I could toggle between the two and I get much more grainy skipping on 4916. 3800 seems to have a smoother higher fidelity for me. Try them both out on a switcher so you can toggle configs while ADS. Using the pistol makes it really obvious. May be difference of mice though. But try this technique to see which works best for you

This works amazing dude, I just got a round where I got 95 kills with the bolt action rife using iron sights with this config. I felt like I was deer hunting lol.

I was able to make very precise movements and pick off people across the map with no scope using this config. If that's not proof of how precise it is, I don't know what is. I also felt like 3800 DZ was more smooth than the 4916 DZ.

I haven't tried the 3800 DZ, but the 4916 worked fine for me.  My sensitivities are @ 15 for both hip and ADS, 5700 dpi.
