The sec sensitivity feels much more like mw2 now. What did you change in the maths?

Can you be more specific? I want to know which one you used to convert your sensitivity for Black Ops config.

MW2 -> Black Ops

or

MW2 -> Black Ops (different measurement)

MW2 -> Black Ops (different measurement) on my G500 @ 5700 DPI

changed 20 primary and 14 secondary to 17.53 primary and 13.55 secondary.... The primary is a little off because it should be around 20 but the secondary is much closer to were is should be as it feels the same as ADS in mw2 as it does in black ops using the latest ST's

Hey guys there was a feature in the old version where you could input the percentage of hipfire lookspeed you wanted for ADS.. that was really helpful for people who liked to use the base game engines HF:ADS ratio...

Can we have this back please?
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to write this, my husband Technogiant as gone out of the room, can you send him this xbox thing quickly he's driving me up the wall. thanks

secondary ratio added.

I am currently working on the Profile Manager kinda like sp4rk's project, but its web app. It's ideal for cross-platform app (Mac, Linux, Windows) -- If you are visiting over a friend's house and want to update the config.

When OBsIV provide the SDK for API, I'll build small "xim transfer" app to transfer the bulk of configs either into your XIM3 or from your XIM3 into web.

I hope the XIM3 SDK will include the firmware version which I can make the xim transfer app to check the config's firmware version and XIM3 firmware version to ensure they are match.

This is work in progress, but I took some screenshots.

I have used the DPI calculator to convert the values from 2000DPI to 3200DPI and just found a minor error. I think the calculator assumes linearity between sensitivity and DPI values, whereas the values found using the square law gives more accurate result (since DPI is spread across the total area). I checked it and the results feel alot closer that way.

So lets say 14.45 @ 2000DPI does not feel that close to 9.03 @ 3200DPI (according to the calculator)

Its more close to 11.4 @ 3200DPI using the square in the equation

 == > DPI is inversely proportional to the Square to Sensitivity Value.

Before I reply, everyone, this thread is more than a year old. Let's keep information about the Sensitivity Calculator in the stickied thread under the Configs subforum :-) I don't want this thread to keep getting bumped.

Regarding the DPI relationship:

I have to disagree here. DPI is dots per inch, not dots per square inch. A dot is a movement unit that is reported to the host, and the mouse's DPI is how many dots (or counts) the mouse reports when it's being moved by an inch. I'm not too sure why those values feel better for you. How exactly did you measure it? I definitely wouldn't trust just feeling on this one, considering how small the margin of error is.

Thanks for the heads up, though.
