Mobile app coming soon!

Awesome, Iphone app also?

mobile web app is done (just point your mobile browser to http://xim3-app.heroku.com/), but I think its slow because of jQuery Mobile (http://jquerymobile.com/) -- I probably will re-write mobile webapp in different way. By the way, I am going to add API for external apps where developers can use it for iphone/android apps and windows/mac/linux apps.

Why do I get different values when I convert from Bo old St to new St? What I mean is my old St values were 5.05 pri and 5 sec. When I convert straight to new St it gives me 7.99 and 7.25. If I use the dist to sens calc, 5 gives me 4.4 180 and which translates to a 6.01 on new St. Is there a problem with converting secondary sense from one game to another? I've only tried this on blops.

There is no problem that I can see.

Using the game converter, converting from old BO to new BO, your previous values of 5.05/5 give new values of 7.99 and 8.14, not 7.25. Did you make sure to choose the right games in the right fields? Also, this calculator only supports secondary sensitivities with ADS smart translators if they're available. This means that it won't convert your secondary sensitivity if you use the hipfire translator when aiming down the sights.

If you use the distance to sensitivity calculator, you must input the turn distance, not a sensitivity value. Five inches will give you a primary sensitivity of 5.75.

I can't get ANY of the results you did. Would you mind sending screenshots of the input fields along with the results?

Is the black ops st on your old calculator the same as the "old st" on the new calculator?

This being the old one

Yes they should be using the same measurement unless kodek64 recently updated "old st" for new "more accurate" measurement.

Okay. I think that's where I'm getting differences from. If I put secondary sens of 5 into the old calc it gives me a turn distance of 4.41 inches per 180 degrees. Put sec sens of 5 into "old st" it gives me 3.25.

I think one of the calculators might be broke.  When I convert my ads sens from mw2 into blops I get a much lower number and it feels much slower compared.

Mw2 sens   20 prim   14 sec

Output blops 19.39 prim      9.69 sec     I ended up just using 20   14 on blops which feels the same.

Are you using MW2 ADS smart translator? and mouse dpi?

I assume that you are currently using 5700 dpi and you want to get 180 degree in about 1.5 to 2 inches.

When Kodek64 and I measure games we are using pistol because they should feel 1:1. Any other weapons than pistol will show different measurements.

I re-measured mw2 ADS again and updated mw2.... -- did the same thing for black ops and got new measurement.

then I used your mw2 config - 20/14 and got new black ops config - 17.53/13.55 -- they should be close now. If you have a ruler can you measure it with 17.53/13.55 and give me a feedback.

If you don't have a ruler with you and you can print ruler from online: http://www.vendian.org/mncharity/dir3/paper_rulers/

Try here: http://xim3-app.heroku.com/gameconv

Please select:

old game: Modern Warfare 2
new game: Black Ops (different measurement) <-- thats one I added

Black Ops (different measurement) and Black Ops are different, but I want to know which one is closest accurate. Please test both!

Let me know!
