Just converted kodek64's xim sens calculator into mobile version (tested on iPhone 4 and Android - HTC EVO 4G)

Support Platforms (from jQuery Mobile page):

Quote
Apple iOS (3.1-4.2): tested on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad
Android (1.6-2.3): all devices, tested on the HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid, Google G1 and Nook Color
Blackberry 6: tested on Torch and Style
Palm WebOS (1.4): tested on Pre, Pixi
Opera Mobile (10.1): Android
Opera Mini (5.02): iOS, Android
Firefox Mobile (beta): Android

Point your phone's browser to:

 http://xim3.heroku.com/

Other two buttons in listview (main page) are currently disabled, because they are incomplete and will complete them tonight or later. Definitely will improve the mobile app.

The backend code doesn't the math to calculate values, but just scrape off the primary and secondary values from kodek64's website. (that's why it takes little time to load if its noticeable)

Might have to contact Kodek64 for math + codes so I can add it to mobile app for fastest response.

Absolutely love the design. I don't know if sliders work for non-integer fields though. Also, any way we could work on a desktop version to improve the horrible looks of it?

Thanks!

I can remove sliders if without sliders will make the page look better.

Of course, I can help with the desktop version.

Great. I have a TON of work this week for school, but I should be free this weekend. I will clean up the entire code and make it easier to interface with. You make a few drafts to see how everything would look and then we can work together to combine it.

I'd rather not spread out the code as it makes it harder to add games to the list, but I will definitely make it easier for you to talk to it. I could also take your code and host it locally if you'd like.

The mobile app is written in Ruby using Sinatra web framework: http://www.sinatrarb.com/ and jQuery Mobile: http://www.jquerymobile.com/

How about I add the admin interface where you can add game's name and value to the database system? You don't have to put hardcoded values for games.

What if someone wants a game that doesn't have Smart Translator, are you able to calculate distance to find sensitivity values for standard translator?

What if you just give instruction how to measure the distance for each game that will help everyone to make their own values. For example if you don't have L4DR game and someone have it wants to use xim sens, but someone can measure it and give it to us the value?

If you don't want Ruby version, I can convert it into PHP or any web framework. It doesn't matter to me as well. Heroku is free hosting provider for Ruby apps. http://www.heroku.com/

Still, I think I will need your math formulas instead of your code. I can find a math formula, but I think your math is closest accurate. That is way I can use your math formula with Ruby + Math library (it can generate graph, too). PM me the math formula if you want.

Updated - http://xim3.heroku.com/ :
- The cosmetic design has been updated.
- Distance and Converter are done.
- Added About with Credits

Finaly found a place I can upload my PDF php script to

http://www.konker.herobo.com/pdf.php?f=2&s1=5.01&s2=3

not so sexy but it works

f = 1:Letter 2:A4
s1= Primary distance (cm)
s2= Secondary distance (cm)

What it does is draw lines. So say you do a 360 turn on 5.01 cm just just add it to s1=5.01 and you have the distence on paper and get setup you game after that. Primary is black and secondary is gray.
If you like some improvements let me know.

The math is perfect. There can be an error of up to 3% in the results, but it's usually unnoticeable. Are you using acceleration?
