Very useful information. I only have one problem .. I run everything through one monitor. I.e. my 360 and my computer both run through the same monitor. This means I can't use the deadzone program without having a second screen >.<
That is common, you either need PIP (picture in picture) or you need to run it from another laptop, or get a second monitor.
I have same situation. But flipping back and forth is pretty simple.
I basically just get an approximation by turning on DZer then moving very slowly in the direction I want to go once I flip back to my XBOX, once I start moving, I let off on the button and flip back.
Then I move it back about 100-200 toward the middle and flip back to my XBOX again. Then I use the arrow keys to "nudge" the dot by one spot til I get movement.
Takes awhile but it works.
Plus I'm not "biased" by looking over at my PC where I think the DZ SHOULD be.
When it moves, it moves and I'm done...
