xim4 + nostromo n50

Hey guys, Im having some issues setting up my n50.

Im running the very latest xim4 firmware as of today. Its finding and mapping all the keys apart from the ones on the side which are used to control movement (D PAD).

Has anyone had this issue before if so how did you resolve it.

That latest firmware is busted. I’m not sure if that is your specific issues, but you can see a lot of us can’t use that firmware. I’m using. 20210625

Apart from that, you need to assign normal keys to those side buttons using the software for the N50, and then XIM will recognize them. Most of us have to map keyboard keys to the side buttons on our mice to get XIM to pickup the keys. I use keys like ( and )

Welcome to the community. It looks like XIM4 is having trouble identifying these buttons. If your device allows for key remapping using PC software and offers onboard memory then reassigning the dpad to keyboard keys may resolve the issue.
