We talked about this before in that other thread and it does use PS's remote play protocol to inject input at high rate. It's the only way. Sony can easily update their USB security method that would break anyone who isn't licensed (as opposed to remote play). Our implementation has been custom written from the ground up for performance and integration with our translation and input processing. This is why we've measured it to be equivalent to running USB at 1000Hz via wired Ethernet. We wouldn't ship any product that doesn't meet our standards.
