USB switch causes yellow screen

Just like the thread title says I get a yellow screen on my XIM3 when I switch between my PC and my Xbox.  It will happen every 4 or 5 times I switch, so often in fact I'm contemplating not using a switch at all. 

It's a pain in the @#$% to have to unplug everything and re-plug in order to clear it, which is the point of having the switch in the first place.  If I don't unplug everything from the switch and the XIM it will not recognize any USB devices no matter how many times I reset it.

Anyone else having this issue?

It's happened on all 3 firmwares, including the latest Beta.

I'm in contact with him directly. He is on it. He'll contact you. We've been trying to find a consistent repro of the problem and sounds like you have it. What mouse and keyboard are you using?

I got the Yellow screen of dealth last night when plugging in my n52te no USB switch....The controller and mouse were already plugged in at the time this occured. I unplugged everything as stated before and it worked fine after that. I'm running the newest firmware released yesterday. I also had a RSOD the night before that running the first Beta firmware did the unbrick method and didnt happen again.

I'm in contact with him directly. He is on it. He'll contact you. We've been trying to find a consistent repro of the problem and sounds like you have it. What mouse and keyboard are you using?

I'm using a G500/G110.  Not sure if it matters but the G110 does work, but it has a question mark on the XIM3 for my keyboard.  Also the backlighting doesn't work, but that might be due to the fact there's no drivers involved.

I've got that usb switcher on the way.  We'll figure it out.
