[Q/A] input lagg

Hi, im using my xim apex to play the elderscrolls online fast paced combat game that requires alot key presses in a short amount off time after maybe 1 or 2 combos im getting delays on my button presses sometimes skills wont register
my camera turn speed is set to maximum my xim apex flashes red alot can this affect input lagg when its flashing red?
and should i set my xim apex to 1000hz?

Hey,

what is the key rollover of your keyboard? Lots of keyboards only support X amount of simultaneous keys when not connected to a PC running its driver. Any additional input will then be delayed or get stuck.
You could test that by offloading some of these frequent actions onto the mouse. Or press start to press one key at a time (and hold it) while checking if any additional input you press is still registered.

what is the key rollover of your keyboard? what do you mean by this?
keys i use are 1-2-3-4-5 tab -c
combat is fast paced global cool down is 1 second on skills in that time im clicking left mouse skills right mouse button tab every one second

going to test a new keyboard seen some google reviews on my current keyboard saying it has bad key rollover >.<

okay got a new keyboard seems alot better! but when im pushing buttons on my new keyboard my xim apex is flashing blue and sometimes yellow what is the cause of this everything seems to be working tho!

It's good to hear that using another keyboard fixes the problem.

There isn't a blue light code but white could be confused for blue. What flashes when writing changes in Manager or if XIM has crashed. Your XIM will breathe the config color, this defaults to red but could be changed to blue. XIM will also flash green when switching to the ADS page and yellow when returning to the Hip page.

AUX pages also have colours assigned to them and will flash when activated. I think the default LED colour for the first AUX is blue.
