Redragon K552 not working with xim4?
« on: 11:10 PM - 11/03/22 »
Just got the K552 KB and I plugged it in xim and it wouldn't work but when I unplugged xim and plugged it back in while all peripherals would light up but when I unplugged the kb and plugged it back in, it wouldn't turn on and would power the mouse and controller down.

Other Red Dragon devices have had problems in the past as well, this may not be compatible or it may be related to power draw. To test against power, a powered hub can be used. The hub would need to include it's own AC adapter. USB 2.0 hubs have official support. 3.0 hubs are not recommended but are sometimes reported by the community to work in most cases as well.

In the meantime I can mark this device as not working on the hardware list.

I have a wireless small form factor RedDragon that works perfectly, but maybe the wired version is different. Itís a great cheap keyboard.
