I'll just say this. For a person who never used a controller and has been Pc gaming for some 15+ years, the xim is a huge advantage (on a personal level). I bought an xbox a few weeks before the xim beta launch. Instead of waiting on my order, I "tried" to get a head start using a controller and hopped right online. Let's just say it was bad...really bad.
On console with a first time controller player (in well over 10 years), all I could muster was a .65 kdr. And then my xim arrived. I average around a 2.5-8 with a few stinkers and a couple high kdr ones thrown in. Now my stats don't show it but it has risin up to a 1.21 on my combat record. Do the math. I've nearly doubled my kdr in under 24 hours of logged gametime. Is the xim an advantage? I wouldn't know as I don't know what it's like to be a good pad player hah. But for me and my tard rush style of game, it's a big advantage.

p.s. To those in-game judging me by my combat record, I'm workin on it!! :-)

I'm like Bizzar1. I am mainly a PC gamer at heart even though I own and play all the consoles and have been working in the gaming accessory market for a long time. XIM makes Consoles more fun for me personally and I finally feel I got my money's worth out of the 360 with the XIM. I simply detest the standard Xbox controller.

Just a constructive input :D

I would be great if the customers can receive an E-mail confirmation that they are in the waiting list.

Just saying...

Diesel,

There is a notification list, not any kind of "waiting" list. It's first come first server once we notify you. I think you are given a success message once you submit your email no?

Hi Guys,

I made a post in the announcements section yesterday. This addresses the availability issue.

http://www.xim3.com/community/index.php?topic=12714.0

We may run out again, just depends on demand. Demand seems high so it is a distinct possibility. The team is getting this made as fast as they can. No need to cut corners and cause RMAs. We have several thousand being made right now, but not all are scheduled to be ready by the re-opening, but they are working hard. As I mention in my post, creating and building a product like this involves some careful planning, but sometimes there are surprises that can throw off even the best laid plans. Plus the sheer hotness of the XIM adds even more pressure. But things are coming together nicely now. The goal is to have a steady stream of XIMs available at all times.

To answer a frequent question. Some parts are made in the USA and some parts are not. All XIMs are assembled in the USA. We like creating American jobs for a change!

Hey guys,

I love threads like this. Some nice setups! I'm in the middle of moving my Xbox setup to my office from the living room. I see alot of folks grabbing the cheap, but oh so useful black table from Target. When you need a new, affordable gaming surface in a hurry it works great!

I'll show a pic once I have it completed.
