Hey people. Well I finally have a good reason to fire up the One. So after about 6 months of not using my XIM4 (I actually have played the One from time to time) I update its firmware and it's data base. And turn stuff on. Now, I've been a user for a while so I'm familiar with what gets plugged where and minimizing power drain (LEDs on mouse off, etc). I find I'm running into the exact problem I used to have with my old XIM (model b4 the 4). I used to be able to rectify it by unplugging the mouse then plugging it back in and away i went killing. But now that's a 50/50 fix. I've tried differ t power ups. Xbox turn on, using the controller and the consoles power button. All seem to error out the same. Then with some monkeying around I can get it to recognize my Razor Naga. I've also tried using my Logitech same results.

I'm thinking my last resort will be a factory reset and reflashing. Ideas?

Find something that works, get used to that, develop muscle memory, Get good.

Your doing yourself a disservice by constantly changing your look mechanic.

That's what I'm doing, once I find the curve that fits my play style I will get used to it, develop muscle memory and get good.

ive actually had a few people say thee same about the 'lag feel'. thats nothing more than my 'experimental' hitbox..try shortining the duration or 'severity' of it. as far the slow speeds, after the 'hitbox' elevate all the points after by a greater ratio..so instead of going up by what i have..try going up by a value of '3' more..still slow?? go up by at a accelerated rate. 3...4.5.....5.5...

im a slow sensetivity player so mimicking your same mouse behaviors is 'difficult' lol. With the hybrid i just made it possible to swipe faster for me with no blackdot..

as for the 'it keeps moving'..its the high boost..lower it a little till you can 'predict' it better. it serves as more as a 'magnet' in more gunfight then a 'overshooting variable"...

it might just me be....but does anybody ever feel like their HIP sensetivity changed if you change your ADS sensetivity?..ive noticed it for a while when i switched to the 'progressive delay'...could be a glitch or in my head though.

anybody else experiance this?? and how exactly does it 'Blend' the two??...does it match curve behaviors or combine sensetivities?? reason   im asking is with different curves, our sticks might be throttled differently...from a technical standpoint...how is it combined?? might give insight as to why 'obsiv' isnt fully onboard with it?.

I installed the progressive delay Xim firmware.  Where do I locate the progressive delay settings, I did see delay in ADS, is that it, it doesn't have a min - max setting or state that it's progressive delay? How do I know I'm using a Progressive Delay version? Thank you in advance.

I tested your new 5400\500 config, it still felt slow to me, I also noticed a slight lag (I would move the mouse and stop and the crosshair would still move. It seemed to work better when I played it with 8000\500 and took my sensitivity to 10.5-11.5, the lag also went away with this setting, I am using random's settings for Hip which is working perfect.

I think OBsIV should make a tutorial or full explanation and guide on understanding what/how curve works to fully fulfill and take great advantage of XIM having better knowledge and information with the advanced use of our XIMs, especially for hardcore/competitive gamers like myself. I honestly don't need it as I do have a decent (very good) accuracy but I'd love to improve and make it even better - more like an aimbot, in a sense.

To be fair those scores are not that impressive?  I use no curves, no delay, only Steady Aim, and I easily get 25-35 kills or more on most games with deaths in the single digits to low to mid teens.  I use a G502 at 12k DPI/500hz polling set at 24/10 Sens in the Manager App for IOS.

I think a lot of people are overthinking this process. In fact the only thing I found to be reliable so far is  the 2.4 ADS/HIP "fix"

I also use the Sony Nav, that is my only reason for not responding. I have 3 setups for my G502, 12,000 Dpi 1000 poll, 12,000 Dpi 500 poll and 8000 Dpi 500 poll.
have u tried keyboard or just the nav? mind sharing ur setup? still torn which i want to use. i played with the nav for a lil bit on destiny and actually liked it but like a said, a few buddies of mine swear by the keyboard.

No, I will never use the keyboard, I personally prefer the Nav over the keyboard. I wouldn't care what the buddies say, you said you liked the Nav, I would stick with it. What game were you looking for my setup for?

Literally everything I say from this point onwards could be complete misinformation xD. So if anyone recognises this, please feel free to correct me.

The way I understand the ballistics line (default) is that it represents the mouse translation into analogue stick movement from 0 too 100 diagonally across the axis.

Deviations from the 1:1 line (above) = acceleration
Deviations from the 1:1 line (below) = deceleration

COD to the best of my knowledge has a pretty linear look mechanic, meaning the movement from 0 to 100% analogue stick tilt/deflection is pretty equal and fluid.

In the first portion of the ballistics line, if we were to edit it in such a way so that it has a little bump and then realigned itself 1:1 you would feel that little speed bump when you first move your mouse around at a gentle speed.

If you have a more pronounced bump nearest the top (closer to 100) you will feel a speed boost in your aim in the faster portion of your aim.

Hopefully that should make some sense.
IMHO I highly recommend that whatever you end up making, try to keep the line fairly straightforward, we see a lot of quirky ballistics curves around here, and very few get used a lot.

Some of the most popular ones are fairly straightforward ones.

X = Mouse Velocity (speed you move the mouse)
Y = Aim Velocity (speed which your "look" moves)

You are ONLY changing Y.  Just putting that out there.  You are simply impacting the look speed in relation to the mouse speed.

Between Dale and the manual, I had a curve built on my iPhone in under 10 minutes and it changed the game for me.  I basically took the first approach on pg 19 of the manual.  1:1 for fine aiming, raise the "top end" of the curve to add more acceleration when the mouse is moving fast.  That's it.  It really isn't that hard.

What i've found is the lower your mouse sens the better the in-game AA reacts.  I was playing too high a sens to get snappy movements and it was causing havoc with the AA and fine aim.  The curve allowed me to almost cut my sens in 1/2 and play with no boost.

I personally don't use curves or boosts, all because I come from a very deep background of professional/competitive PC FPS play and I personally (keyword here, personally) enjoy building up my muscle memory which essentially cannot happen if you have acceleration on (which ballistics technically is) and it's just how I move about and play.

I would agree 100% if this was PC, the whole mentality for PC to have 1:1 Raw mouse input comes from the fact that nothing in a PC FPS game at any time will ever interfere with your mouse input or the games look mechanic.

On Console with XIM we have Aim Assist to "catch" that accelerated aim, and Black Dotting to avoid.

If the controller sticks resolution and in game settings could be much much higher than they are now, I would say 1:1 no curves and turn off aim Assist one thousand %%%%

But acceleration isn't that bad when you have a built in game mechanic to catch your aim. And that same acceleration can help you flick around faster too.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand what you're saying, I'm a massive preacher for 1:1 raw mouse input on PC.. But this is a different game altogether.

But saying all that, with or without a curve people can and will do well. So as you say:
