I wonder if the Xim Apex or Xim 4 could benefit from this device. I am willing to buy and try.

not gonna happen for obvious reasons but since its a whishlist, having a low-speced smart trainer aboard the xim so you can train your own configs for eg games without support or if you have early access to AAA games, would suffice until official support is out

+1, I would love to see this.

You mean one for Hip and a different one for ADS?

Yes, one for Hip and one for ADS.

I love 3 5 and 6. But 6 is best for me.

Thanks for the feedback and trying out all these firmwares.

Question: Is it possible to have a hybrid config, one which could be maybe 3+5? Just curious if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

The Frag chuck is amazing, the mouse side is garbage :)

What do you like about the chuk?
Feels way more comfortable than a nav mate.

No need to charge, one decent quality duracell battery will last for months playing around 6-7 hours a day.

Also I have been using mine daily for hours as mentioned since the days of black ops 1 and it's still going strong!

Does the chuck work perfect with the Xim4? Being that you're not using the mouse that comes with the chuck do you notice any problems being that you technically have two mice connected to the Xim4? Which model do you recommend?
I use a g700s as I like wireless and has a good amount of buttons.

No issue with the chuck at all but it's the old ps3 model can't imagine it's much different this time around.

The dangle goes in the xim and the chuck connects via Bluetooth to that.

Thank You. Have you ever used the Sony Nav and if yes, does one feel more responsive than the other?

XIM 4 Discussions / Looking for some couch setup advice.
« on: 07:42 PM - 02/16/17 »
I know we spoke of this before but it's now 2017 and someone might have a better setup that others beside myself might like to try. I just recently moved my game-room from my basement to an upstairs room. I am looking for a good device that would allow me to use my mouse on the couch. I play with the G502 and Sony Nav (wired). What is the longest cable anyone has successfully used with a Sony Nav wired, the G502 cable is already long enough. I will be sitting about 6-10 feet away from the TV.

Thank You in advance.

Just curious but has OBsIV said whether or not a hybrid  SA is possible? I am willing to use SA3+SA5 as a Hybrid SA even if it would limit me to half my available game configs.

Beta / Re: Sub configs discussion [Advanced Users Only]
« on: 09:19 AM - 02/14/17 »
Obviously the above would mean a Manager makeover for creating blocks of configs. But other then that (as if that's not a lot to ask), all I can think of that would need to be changed is deactivation keys and Hold/Toggle behavior would need to be added to all Configs, including Hip.

XIM5 maybe?

For now, if you could update manager to cascade subs the way we discussed, that would be a BIG win! I know you have concerns with subs eating up memory. However, as I've stated before, the ideal solution IMO is to let the users decide how they want to build their configs. If you're open to discuss major makeovers to Manager for future projects, please put it out there and invite the community to offer more ideas.

I appreciate you lending an ear.

+1, I agree. I personally would love sub configs. Now that we have the save config setting, it's a simple restore and backuo.

OK thanks for the advice guys, I've had a lot of problems with the xim, but from the sounds of it other devices will be even worse... out of the frying pan into the fire situation! I guess I could give one more mouse a try with the xim and hope yet another doesn't fail, they say third times a charm right 😁

Are you a beta tester, we have a nice project going on that might can help you?

I have used splitfish devices in the past as well as some of the other users and I will like to give you some advice that will save you some money. Follow the steps below.

1) Get a jar\cup
2) Write Splitfish on the jar\cup.
3) Throw in your money.
4) Take money out and place it back in your pocket.
5) Done, without the refund mess or going though what some of us went through. 8)

The joystick mechanism on my nav is finally starting to wear out, and i cant find a replacement anywhere. I'm not afraid of soldering, i'm wondering if its possible to replace it with a ps3 joystick part or if anyone else has had this issue

I saw some on EBay and Amazon. I already had 1, I grabbed 2 more when my brother asked me to grab him one.

XIM 4 Discussions / Re: Ps Nav Issues

Unfortunately part of the problem with the NAV is that they've been out of production for several years now. That means battery life is dwindling. That may or may not be your problem. However, you should always make sure your NAV is dead before recharging, just to make sure you get the most out of the battery.

+1, if you don't plan on using the wireless option, you can always take out the battery......that's what I did.

We'll find out tomorrow.

Any news on whether the XIM works all ok with the new PS4 PRO? I'm thinking of getting the PRO but to be honest it would be a deal closer if the XIM doesn't work as there's just no way I can play FPS games using a dualshok!

I don't think anyone knows this for sure until tomorrow. I received my email about an hour ago stating that I can pick it up tomorrow.
