Hey guys, long time - no post.

So I just bought a house and i'm planning on having my router in the living room and my computer/xbox in the basement.

Here's what i'm looking for:

what kind of cabling do i need? cat6 (or variant) or should i future proof and go cat7?

does it need to be shielded?

I want to make it look nice, so i'm going to have a 4port ethernet outlet next to the router, along with another one in the basement.
Do the female RJ45 connectors need to be cat specific?

Beta / Profile switch requirements?

I know that you can't switch between profiles while the manager is linked, but what else is required? I.e. The Bluetooth link needs to be cut?
I noticed I force closed the app last night yet I still couldn't profile switch unless I unplugged and re plugged the xim.

Clan wars is pretty tough for a committed small group. I've decided to open the clan strictly to elite for clan wars. If you'd like in, and know how to cooperate, speak up. Doesn't hurt to have a good kdr, but kdr isn't everything - wins are number 1 priority - so PTFO.  We don't have a playstation division, so if you'd like to run that section, let me know.  I believe all clan wars is cross platform? Can anyone confirm or deny that?  Either way, speak up!
