Welcome to the community.

A white LED indicates a corrupted firmware or game config. This can happen for example when pasting a Ballistics Curve from an older XIM APEX firmware version into a more recent release, or restoring a corrupted backup game config.

The solution is to install the latest XIM APEX firmware from https://xim.tech/latest. It's best to setup your configs again from scratch rather than restoring a backup.

More info below, select Factory Reset.

The only way to manage vertical recoil on a XIM is to increase YX ratio at the cost of accurate mouse movement (YX ratio will change circular movement into an oval, depending on the value).

You can do that on the ADS page, or setup a Recoil AUX config so it only triggers while ADS + Shoot. Od1n details how to do that on the XIMGameplay YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/XIMGameplay/video

XIM maps a mouse to the right-stick by default.

What I think you want to do is navigate the menus using a mouse. Destiny games use the left-stick for menu navigation.

You can setup an AUX sub-config to map the mouse to the left-stick for menus, but it's much faster and easier to just use WASD, or pick up the controller.

The trainer moves constantly for 12-24 hours per viewport (HIP vs ADS) along all vectors and velocities to map the look mechanics. You're way oversimplifying it.

XIM APEX Discussions / Re: XIM APEX Store Restock

XIM Tech doesn't sell direct on Amazon. Those are third-party sellers and not all of them are authorised distributors (check https://xim.tech/shop/ to confirm).

Beware of buying on Amazon as it's a haven for scammers due to Amazon not checking faulty or tampered product returns and reselling them as new.

If your XIM sensitivity is very low, it's almost certainly your mouse DPI. If it was set to 3200 DPI in the mouse memory, the only way you'd be hitting above 400 XIM Sensitivity is with XIM APEX Response Rate set to 1000Hz and Sync to Off.

You can adjust mouse sensitivity by changing XIM APEX Response Rate to 125, 250 or 500Hz, and setting Sync to Default, Common or Slow. Be sure to unplug and replug XIM APEX after changing Response Rate.

Realistically, if any of these are done, your XIM Sensitivity shouldn't be above 100 and will more likely be closer to 25 to 30 when combining Response Rate with Sync.

What mouse are you using?

It should work as is. If not, I'd be thinking it's power-related. That or the USB cable from the controller to XIM APEX. I use a 12V USB 3.0 hub on my setup these days, which is worth keeping in mind if the power adapter on the XIM APEX USB hub isn't enough.

CTRL uses the same QMK firmware as Ergodox EZ and that kb definitely works on XIM APEX. Check to see if there's a QMK firmware update available for CTRL.

This might help (or might not...) - https://drop.com/talk/9382/how-to-configure-your-ctrl-keyboard

Here's my kb layout for Ergodox EZ, so you can see that very complex kb layouts can be used with a XIM (mine has 7 layers, gaming is Layer 3) - https://configure.ergodox-ez.com/ergodox-ez/layouts/MdRb/latest/3. Layers, keyboard, mouse and dual-function buttons all work on XIM APEX.

Discussion of mods and macros isn't permitted here.

Given this is about Titan Two rather than XIM, you're more likely to get a response on the ConsoleTuner forums, or the XIM or ConsoleTuner Discords.

The ST trainer doesn't flick, that was mist manually testing to replicate your result.

The trainers maps the entire look mechanic by recording movement along all vectors at all velocities and working its magic for deadzone size, shape, acceleration, velocity jumps etc.

As OBsIV said, that'd be akin to creating millions of curves in one ST, but it doesn't work that way (we don't know exactly how, that's XIM Tech IP).

You can see a little bit of that automation in this video (keep in mind this is from 9 years ago) -

It looks like you're not saving the DPI to the mouse's on-board memory. Check your mouse software on PC to check.

Tutorials / Re: Refresh Game Config

A few possibilities -

1. Faulty USB cables from the controller to XIM APEX can cause intermittent disconnects. Try a different cable (make sure it supports data).

2. Excessive power draw from the mouse, keyboard and/or controller can cause disconnects. Make sure your controller is fully charged. If that doesn't solve it, consider purchasing a power adapter for the XIM APEX USB hub. It needs to be 5V 3A power adapter  ([3.5mm x 1.35mm], center-positive).

3. Some keyboard manufacturers don't have great key rollover support. Razer is one of those brands.

If you're stuck in a strafe or find yourself circling around looking at the ground or sky, I'd go with power and recommend buying an adapter. But try a new controller USB cable first as it's the most common issue affecting XIMs.

General Discussion / Re: Xim on switch???
« on: 07:03 PM - 06/27/20 »
The cheapest option to use a XIM APEX on Switch is a Mayflash Magic-NS adapter.

XIM forces the PS4 to poll at 1000Hz (or the set Response Rate) over USB instead of the default 250Hz PS4 polls via USB. PS4 polls a DS4 via Bluetooth at 800Hz.

XIM 4 had a hardware compatibility list. XIM APEX has only ever had an incompatibility list.
