Welcome to the community. There's more than one cause for this but it's usually setup related and can be fixed. To help fix the problem can you please go through the list linked below and share the results from each step? This may also resolve the issue.

Some of the results will pass assuming that your non-XIM devices are working normally. If it does not resolve the problem then we can use the combined results from each numbered step to find a solution.

Welcome to the community. There are mixed reports with the Nancom Compact, some of these controllers are known to not work with APEX.

To learn more about the problem it may help to try connecting the controller directly to APEX without the hub. It may be necessary to connect APEX after the PS5 is finished starting and on the home menu then connect the controller. Does this allow APEX to flash green initialization lights?

For reference the startup light sequence should look similar to this:

red, green, blue
red
green, green, green, green
red

Once XIM has finished it's startup sequence it may be necessary to press the controllers guide button.

Welcome to the community. If your device is out of warranty APEX can be used with another USB 2.0 hub. I recommend this one, I have two for my XIM devices.

Welcome to the community. Does your XIM have a config that supports Siege's aim type named Updated? If so this is fixed by using the beta firmware and beta Manager.

I wonder why it was trained at 3.20. Seems like they're usually done at default settings. I hope it gets looked into, this is the only game I play.

3.20 was used because it allows ADS to have an approximately equal turn speed with Hip and this release supports different transition options in the game. Equal turn speeds allow for a more normalized sensitivity between Hip and ADS, which is a common request from players here. I'm not able to test both STs together during creation so while I can say that each ST provides linear movement with their supported mechanic, I don't know how their transitions will feel until support is released. I personally don't feel a jump using the recommended settings but people have mentioned that the delay changes with the loadout and perks used so there may be some combinations that might not work well with the default delay and deactivation delay values in the config. Adjusting the delay values as your loadout changes should resolve the problem. I wonder if the people who are reporting these problems are adjusting these values to their own loadout type or trying to only use the default values?

In any case it seems that most players prefer a 1.0 ADS multiplier so this will be supported after BF 2042.

APEX supports the PS4 version of the game using a PS4. For some reason the PS4 version uses a different look mechanic while played on a PS5.

I don't know that Manager works while in remote play but to use PC Manager APEX will need to be in a wired connection mode. To use wired config mode attach XIM to the PC without holding a button. When the startup lights begin to flash immediately press and release the XIM button, the light sequence will be interrupted and you should then be able to open and use Manager in wired mode.

About your wireless connection, does APEX flash cyan and green when pressing the APEX button? If yes then it may help to use a bluetooth connect app. Here are two suggestions.

This seems to be caused by updating the controller firmware while XIM is connected. A fix was found by downgrading the controller firmware:

1) Unplug XIM
2) Open Xbox Assist from games & apps
3) Get Help (top left)
4) Console & Accessories > Controller > My controller has connection issues after the last update > Check controller firmware > Revert firmware

Once the firmware is reverted it can then be updated without XIM connected.

Welcome to the community. A white light is a crash caused by an attached device or corruption. Try disconnecting all cables from XIM4 and reconnect it to the console with nothing attached. If there is still a white light then unfortunately your XIM4 will need a factory reset using a flash tool. I recommend using the beta flash tool and beta version of Manager.

A crash can be caused by corruption or an attached device. Does your APEX white light if the controller is connected directly to APEX without the hub?

To do this connect your controller to your PC. Wait a few moments for Windows to install drivers and prepare the device. Once finished press the Windows key and type 'set up usb game controllers' and continue to this selection.



Select the controller then click properties.



If you've made it this far the controller actions will be shown in this window. Pressing buttons and moving the analog sticks will be visible as shown in this picture.
