There are multiple causes for this issue but the most likely cause is your nav. The nav is prone to a few things that cause stability issues like this such as:

- a faulty cable
- a faulty nav port
- a low or weak charging battery

A quick way to test against all of these faults is by using the nav in wireless mode with APEX. The results will tell us whether the disconnect is related to the nav or if we should look elsewhere. Here are instructions on how to do this:

NAV off
XIM off
Controller in XIM Port 3 "..."
NAV in XIM Port 1 "."
XIM on
Connect manager and make sure NAV shows up
Unplug NAV
Press NAV PS button
Confirm wireless NAV shows up in manager

BF2042 support is in progress now but XIM doesn't support no recoil or other cheating methods.

Welcome to the community. Unfortunately this is known to not be compatible with APEX, it sounds like it's also not compatible with XIM4.

Welcome to the community. Is the controller made by Sony? If yes, testing the controller in another port or using other data cables with the controller may help.

Welcome to the community. Does your XIM have a config that supports Siege's aim type named Updated? If so this is fixed by using the beta firmware and beta Manager.

Thanks for verifying. Others have had problems after updating the controller firmware while XIM was connected though the behavior has been a little different. A fix was found by downgrading the controller firmware:

1) Unplug XIM
2) Open Xbox Assist from games & apps
3) Get Help (top left)
4) Console & Accessories > Controller > My controller has connection issues after the last update > Check controller firmware > Revert firmware

Once the firmware is reverted it can then be updated without XIM connected.

If your XIM is always displaying a white light after startup it's crashing and this could be caused by corruption. If it's due to corruption then your XIM won't be able to connect to Manager on your laptop or phone. There are instructions in my last post on how to solve this.

Welcome to the community. When you updated APEX's firmware did you use the latest build from the download section? If so this doesn't have the latest controller support, the beta firmware and beta Manager have the latest support. So this is a good place to start.

Also, was the controller connected to APEX while you updated the controller firmware with the console?

The ST wasn't trained using every zoom level so you should use what feels best.

Verifying the game settings are correct and that you're using the latest game support are good places to start.

The next step for troubleshooting delayed movement would be testing other data cables with the controller.

Welcome to the community and thanks for the extra info. Are you using the latest firmware from the download section? If so this doesn't support the Series X. This is supported by the beta firmware and beta Manager so I would start by updating to these first.
