For flying, set turn assist and put it on say right mouse button, works very well.

Hi, Indeed the st battlefield is perfect. However how do you do for aerial land vehicles? It is unplayable at Xi

Use a vehicle curve for ground and aerial vehicles. (see thread: http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=33207.0)

For air I'd also commend binding yaw and pitch to keys on your keyboard so you can manoeuvre fast.  I have yaw on A and D, roll on Q and E, pitch up on spacebar and pitch down on Lshift.  If I want to do a barrel roll just hold down Q, D (or E, A) and spacebar.  Just make sure don't move your mouse when you're using keyboard for manoeuvring.

With the battlefront 2015 ST with no curves I have

zoomed sens - 50 (felt better than 100 to me for some reason)
Soldier sens - 100
stick deadzone - 15
aim assist - on

4k dpi, 1k polling - hip 27 x/y .85
ads - 9.5 x/y .85

Try the BF1 ST, it's much better.  Leave the dead zone at default and everything else maxed out.

On PS4, the BF1 (Battlefield) ST gives better granular movement.

why would anyone play a 3rd person RPG with XIM? i can't seem to wrap my mind around it 

 Well I, for one, just can't seem to get used to the controller. I've been a PC gamer mostly, haven't really played much console stuff since Super Nintendo, so dual sticks and several buttons and triggers are a bit overwhelming.

Same here, I just dislike controllers.  The only games I can play with controllers are the Lego games and Japanese SRPGs.

No, they snap right on target for me.  I turn slow down off because I play tanks a lot.

Zero advantage because aim assist.  I'm trying very hard to push devs to remove or tone down aim assist in the games that I play.

I use K&M and I'm doing pretty well.  I can constantly stay behind someone in a fighter or kill infantry on the gournd with ease in an attack plane.  The key is you need to bind pitch up and down to keyboard or mouse buttons; I have mine on space bar and LShift respectively.  I do not even need to use turn assist.  I also use an aggressive vehicle curve posted in one of the sticky at the game support forum.  And lastly, make sure you use Legacy stick scheme so you can put yaw on mouse y axis, A and S for roll and W/S for throttling up and down.   If I want to do a half loop, immelmann, turning, etc, all I need to do is hold space bar while using A or D to control my roll.

You have to turn off slow down for tanks especially the Light Howitzer tank.
