Anyone know the proper l2/r2 resistor wiring? The wrong picture is throwing me off and the schematic looks like the transistor connects 3.3v AND l2/r2 outs
You mean resistor connecting between 3,3v and L2/R2 ?
Thats how it is supposed to be.

@Lefty. Min and max values seem to be ok. It is really weird why those are all stucked to minimum (ground). And yet it has been able to calibrate. Broken 360 controller would explain this, but then again if it is tested it cant be that.
You say right stick works? but according to that pic it is stucked too. Zaxis and Zrotation should be on the centre.

My bad was meant to say, the right stick works I have input but the value of the axis sits far left of them boxes, xbox controller is new from box I have 2 controllers and they both give me them readings :( I bet it's something real simple, but it is annoying me, for the life of me I just can't figure it out.

I have this too on my full advanced mod. I dont know why, some voltage problem maybe how you connect the lines. I will make it digital triggers so I can rule out those two pots.

Please keep me informed of progress please Rosds.

Long story short, checked the wireing and solder spots all looks fine, some spots were reheated to make a better contact in some area's, i did not change the mcp's, loaded pot version 8 applied uncomments/comments as per W11cE instructions < (thanks bro for all the help :)) and exactly the same thing, all buttons work triggers work right stick works BUT have the exact same problem left stick moves (not all the way right on the whole right side) but just wants to ping back and sit in the top left corner, its just so close but yet so far :), 1 thing i did forget to mention is, after calibration when i unplug the loop and plug the modded DS4 into pc and then plug my xbox 360 controller in it does not light up, i have to unplug the modded DS4 micro USB with the xbox controller still attached to the modded DS4, then replug in the micro usb back in to the modded controller for the player 1 to show up on the xbox 360 controller, is this a sign of my problem's, any help would be gladly appreciated.

PS, build was exact to page 8 of this thread, shared my thought's, im now off to BF4 for some KILLING.

Could you just not plug in your xim3/edge on your usb host shield as you go along until your teensy comes, I'm sure the power if getting thru will power up either device.

Just loaded pot version 8 and the left stick still does the same, starts off top left corner and when I move it around it's pulling back to that corner, and when I release my thumb from the left stick it flicks back to that same top left corner, but now when I push the left stick down I have the button now show up in joy.cpl :o when it did not before, everything else now works except that left stick, Weird.

I have exactly the same problem from the first successful try, and  it's not a wiring mistake.
It's like we don't get a good calibration, but i don't know why....

But didn't Leftfieldgenecide have a working one running the same firmware ?

Yes I did and I've built this second unit to a T from page 8 of this thread, and loaded pot v7 and pot v8 and still have this annoying problem with the x/y axis persisting to stay at top left in joy.cpl, can't understand it.

As I said I'm going to replace Ly and Lx mcps some time tomarrow and embed them more.

Yeah thank you, would appreciate that.

And on another note, great games last night W11cE, had to put my son to bed and when I came back you was gone, I know it was late, but I hope you don't think I was being rude, anyways must do it again some time.

Yeah mate it's weird, I've checked my wiring over and over, and all is fine, so tomarrow I'm going to replace the Ly/Lx mcp's and resolder 2 new mcp's on, but this time I'm going to try and embed them a little more deeply into the points, may I ask RuaAd what all buttons and triggers and right stick show up for you in joy.cpl ? ( ie) r2 = ? R1 = ? L2 = ? L1 = ? Etc etc etc , that's if your using a xbox controller to calibrate.

Much appreciated Lefty .

Thank you Roads, I'll try that on this second unit, going to replace both Lx Ly mcp's and make sure both are soldered really well to there spots.

Stay safe, and keep yourself tight behind enemy lines.

Trust me, it keeps you off the ps4 for a while, and you get the added satisfaction of a top working class unit.

After I loaded pot version 8 on W11cE advise I got the left stick when pushed down activated in joy.cpl, but the x/y axis always stays top left I can move it around now but not to the very right side, it does go right top, middle and bottom but not all the way on those 3 sides, but once I release the stick it goes straight back to top left.

Leftfield. Damaged MCP? Sure you did not switch LX LY points on Teensy? Maybe exchanged LX with L2?

No i did not Roads switch Lx and Ly points on teensy, so why switch Lx with L2??? Can you explain why this will make a differance mate much appreciated.
