As hard as I tried I just can't do 1 accel in this game, too much arm movement. The ST still works well with 5 accel though so big thanks to Mist and team.

In every game I prefer the lowest acceleration possible for better consistency. I did 1 accel in h5 but the turn speed is just so slow in infinite that I currently feel forced to use 5 accel and think it may be best to build it around that this time.

Edit - if you and mist feel like the turn speed is good enough on the translator with 1 accel then I would vote 1 accel.

I'm looking to buy a new mouse and it's come down to either the G pro wireless or the viper ultimate (heavily leaning towards the viper). Due to a past injury it's difficult to do more complex actions in games with my left hand so sometimes I'll create macros on my G502 to help out. I know you can save profiles to the viper but can anyone who owns the mouse confirm that macros saved to the memory work when connected to the XiM Apex?

If getting one just make sure it's a 5V/3A adapter with a 3.5 x 1.35 mm plug.

I noticed that the hub has a spot for an AC adapter to be plugged in. Before I order an adapter I was wondering if it's recommended to make the hub powered and if it helps the XiM in some way?

making your ADS use the hip translator instead of ADS helps a lot with the aim assist bubble.

"Well here we are looking at the signal, the electromagnetic waves moving from one end of the cable to the other (this is different from the actual electrons moving through the wire, that is very slow). In a vacuum this happens at the speed of light, but in a material it is lower based on the dielectric constant of the material.

So lets say the wire is made of copper and the extension cable is 3 meters long. We'll use round numbers and say the copper's dielectric constant is 3.0.

Speed of light, c = 3x10^8 m/s

Speed of signal in the copper wire = c/3 = 1x10^8 m/s

now the wire is 3m long so the time it takes for the signal to travel through it = (3 m)/(1x10^8 m/s) = 3x10^-8 s

So your input delay is extended by 0.00000008 seconds.

I think you'll be okay. The computer probably takes more time to figure out what to do with the signal and send the event to your game's application."

I'm so excited for my apex to get here later in the week. Normally I wait for reviews on new products to avoid any bugs/issues before purchasing but after owning every XiM product I have no doubts about just going in blind. It's not even just about how great XiM in itself is, but how well it's supported post launch.

Given we knew it would be in game preview. Given we know bluehole is a small company

Why do people keep saying this? Bluehole isn't small at all, their last game was an MMO Tera which was also built on the Unreal Engine.

Even though I've personally ended up using no curves I tried RML's anti aim assist curve and it wasn't bad.

At 4k DPI 1k polling using RMLs curve for hip helps a lot. Then for ADS using no curve but set it at the bottom to use the hip ST instead of the ADS one helped make it feel a lot better to me in regard to the stickiness.

Personally I didn't really like his ADS curve for this game but making the ADS use the hip ST while not perfect helped with the slowdown.

Can you post more in depth about your flying settings such as your x/y ratio, boost, do you use turn assist a lot?

It's nowhere near as good as BF4 but you definitely still have an advantage with KB/M.

I've had good results using Zombie's curve for both hip and ADS :

In game settings I have aim slow down turn on but snap off and unified aiming on.

At 12k DPI have XiM set to 11 hip and 8 ADS and the x/y ratio in ADS set to 1.2 to help push through the slow down aim assist for headshots. I have zero issue hitting targets with autos or DMRs. Sniping I still feel like isn't where it needs to be but I'm adjusting and regularly get 40+ kills as a PTO sniper with the m95 marksman.
