No I don't think it did, it just kept saying failure to connect. I just tried connecting to the manager again and it's worked pretty much all day since. Even after powering down the ps3 several times.

Okay ive tried updating the firmware with the flash tool but im getting this error:

Failure connecting to XIM4

Please be sure your xim4 is connected to your pc without any devices attached to it and is displaying a solid blue light.

Currently there are no devices attached to it and it is diplaying a solid blue light.


I went thru the setup process again, unpaired it from my phone then paired it again and heyf***ing presto it works!!!1!

Im gonna switch it all off then try it again to see if it still works.

Okay, thanks for the help chaps. The manager I have on my phone is the one from the play store, I've also tried the one direct from your website. I'm not sure how I check what firmware is on the xim4.

I'm using an HTC one m8.
All I want to know is how it doesn't work after testing it earlier on modern warfare
Do I need to repeat the set up process every time I use the device?

Look, Soz 4 rage but after spending a full morning getting this thing to work only for it not to work in the evening I'm slightly annoyed.

Should Just go thru the whole set up thing again and take it from there?

trying to run it on android. it worked this afternoon but after disonnecting it and trying it again it just does that red light breathing thing.... to be honest I was a bit sceptical and after this post the thing is going in the bin and im gonna write it off as a waste of time, give my wife the 100+ she paid for it. also, your forums stink... having to fill in a load of @#$% everytime to post a reply.

Chances are ive overlooked something but after a full day of pissing about with this thing im just about short of temper.

I eventually got it working, came home again then the @#$% thing doesn't work again after reconnecting it again.  After paying in excess of 130 pounds, that's not including the shipping cost, I'm very disappointed.

Hi, I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere but Ive been on with trying to set up my new xim4 for the ps3. I managed to pair it with my android phone but when I opened the manager it just stayed at one screen, like a loading screen for ages. I tried lots of times after this then eventually I tried to do it offline via a pc, but after installing the pc manager and trying to pair it with the pc it kept saying xim4 not found [6].

Ive tried going thru the process again on my android phone but not the xim4 keeps going thru the rainbow sequence over and over again with my controller, mouse and keyboard constantly lighting up. Does this mean its broken?

Im literally desperate to have a game of cod blops2 now with my mates!

Please help me
