Logitech G13 works great for this, but then again I still use WASD and usually map the G13 stick to right stick. Hopefully they put a successor into production at some point.

I mean, it does work (even though I realize it's not perfect). Can you be more specific? If it's the unsafe site warning I don't know what to tell you. It's a form. With one blank. That isn't asking for any personal information. So you could do me a solid and click the thing that lets them know the unsafe designation is an error.

Not sure, I guess something to do with the free webhosting ads? I'm not telling anyone to put anything in other than their XIM curves. If anyone knows any free php webhosting that isn't total junk I'm all ears.

If you post the original config code and tell me what Apex firmware you're on I might be able to debug.

Try http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=62975.0 , granted nobody has reported it working but I think it *should* be working at the moment... for the most part.

This should work now for the current version. I didn't get any feeback when I first made it, I went through and fixed it for the current beta firmware. I think it will work with the current official firmware but I'm not going to revert to confirm.

It definitely won't work with the launch firmware, or any firmware that doesn't have the Audio Compatibility bit option.

I'll also add that since Boost went away between XIM4 and Apex, not to mention in XIM4 it was used for other things in experimental builds, any config that used Boost in the original intended fashion isn't going to work right. I'm considering making/integrating a tool that would apply the old boost value directly onto the curve (i.e. moving all the points in the curve up by the boost value multiplied by whatever the correct conversion factor will be) but I don't know if there is demand for such a feature or this conversion tool in general.

I tried converting my script but keeps saying “could not parse input curve”. Here is my script

That's a full config. Not a ballistics curve. I don't currently have a converter for a full config. Well, I do, but it's for an older version and would need some work for current firmware..

There are 4 ways they can detect a XIM:
- left thumbstick input (WASD)
- R2/L2 input (no gradual change)
- right thumbstick input (no input within the deadzone)
- Sixaxis input (no input at all)
R2/L2 method would be plenty of false positives since you can remap them to digital buttons on a system level on both PS4 and XBO I believe. So if they try something, I hope they try that just to learn the quick lesson of why trying to detect and ban XIM users is a bad idea on a practical level.

I don't know about the gyro thing either. Doesn't that stuff get passed through? I've kind of retired my XIM from PS4 duty. And assuming it's feasible you would get false positives from people using adapters to use their XBO controller on PS4.

The patch notes are pathetic. And look at those new loot crate drops. You can buy like 6 crates a week. Some of them will be the new ones I suppose... and you have like a 1/100,000 chance of getting certain items. Right. Ok. Top thinking.

What does it even mean that they're changing excessive acceleration? They didn't come out and say 0 acceleration now means 0 acceleration...

Aside from that it's maybe fixing some stuff they broke in previous updates... some incredibly vague optimizations that sound like they won't amount to much... and... you'll take more damage while driving vehicles which I'm pretty sure absolutely nobody wants? I mean, I understand the part about doing more damage when running people over but... we're gonna take massive damage again for minor bumps against nonsense geometry I guess? What? Why?

These dudes are really struggling with these patches.

They should spend more time playing, if they cant handle it, there is always Mario Kart on the 3DS
Mario Kart is honestly a much better competitive game than the average COD.

Give this a try: https://ximconvert.000webhostapp.com/curvereverse.php

Keep in mind that there are 51 X values on Apex vs 21 for XIM4 and the Y scale is 50x as granular on Apex as XIM4 but this is as close as you can get, assuming I didn't mess up any of the math.

I'm glad I got one a couple of months ago to replace my very beat up original. My old one has part of the stick broken off (still usable) but the membrane under the keys also gave out. That might be challenging to replace.

Anyway the analog stick for me has been invaluable for turn assist, not movement so much. The G13 wasn't without its faults, hopefully someone brings something better to market. Analog stick plus another row of keys at least above the WAS cluster, with mechanical switched (Cherry MX Reds please?).

Also there is a left stick dead zone setting in the game which should let you effectively tweak how fast the walk speed is.

There are individual mappings per axis, no simple swap sticks button. You're going to want it to look like this for the swapped setting from XIM4:

You could also try copying an old XIM4 config wholesale using my converter here which should preserve 'swap stick': http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=62975.msg668191#msg668191
