Hours played with Hex Evo:

6.0 hours straight playsession yesterday.
Had some little playsessions before that.

And 7 hours today.

Proficiency level with the Hex Evo 1-10:

7.5. A left handed controller isn’t new for me. Used the PS Navigation controller for 10 years now. And when this was broken last year i used some weeks the JoyCon controller.

Does the product really give you a more pleasant experience?

Not a pc gamer. Playing on PS5, Series X and Switch. So i am using it with the Xim Apex on my PS5. The console i used the most. With the XimApexManager i can remap every button i want. So in my opinion i not having the problems with profiles. It was really plug and play.

Does it have the right features or would you add / remove anything?

Add one or maybe two buttons where the ring and pinky finger are. Not removing, but replace the shift button more to the back.

How easy it is to get adapted to it?

Not a problem. In a kind of way it was replace the Sony Nav now for the Hex Evo. And in my right hand still the Logitech G502. So it was easy to adapted to it because i use this setup for many years!

How good is the design in terms of ergonomics?

Friday:

Played for 6 hours straight yesterday had with the Hex Evo and COD:MW2 on the PS5. The thumb controller should be moved a little more to the left, moving it to the right now just doesn't feel comfortable. The shift button, where your middle finger rests, could be more on the back of the controller.

Also experienced some strain on my ring and pinky finger for some time.

Saturday: asking myself if the thumbstick and the four buttons maybe have to switch which each other??

Had the whole day only good matches with COD. Its feels comfortable for 80 procent. Still some strain in some fingers.

That is, do buttons have the right placement?

Is there any place where you find it uncomfortable?

Yeah but its not that much. It needs some little improvements.

Are you able to play for long periods of time without getting pain?

Additional information/feedback:

Used it with Xim Apex and a Beloader on PS5 for playing COD. Great experience with those adapters!

Thanks for updating us with your findings. I really like my Nav but it's long overdue for a replacement.

I keep Sony Navs on standby. I have 1 wired and 3 wireless.

Azeron Cyro could possibly be the Sony Nav killer when it releases, im hoping so anyway, im sure its not gonna be cheap though

Only thing that will replace the Nav for me is a similar device but with more buttons. As a battle royale player, nothing will replace a d-pad for me and so far, no Azeron devices or "analog keypads" have matched up.

+1 on similar device with more buttons.

If it doesn't resemble the Sony nav it's not for me. I have tried them all and the Sony Nav just feels the best... That's after you use the modeling glue to fix the shape of course.

I play on PC with Battlenet, and for me Xim Apex work well.
No any problem or issue.
Look to have the right settings, and select controller like first input metod.

The correct ST for MW2 in not present yet, correct?

I'm using now default settings indicate in Warzone ST. I feel  this ST good.
The only thing is the deadzone on 0.08, for me is a little bit more. But i dont i've try other value.
I use STANDARD type of curve aiming, and STANDARD aim assist.
My mouse have 3200 dpi and 1000hz. Also Apex have 1000hz.
In HIP fire i use RML curve 6, and in ADS fire i use RML curve 1.
Xim apex sens is personal. I use 27 in HIP and 24 in AIM.

FYI if you are playing COD you are going to get pooped on without aim assist. Leave it on.

And make sure you set: Aim Assist on Black Ops or Standard mode... add some steady aim - there drop a perl  thank me later.

PC STs were made for NEXUS, but XIM 4, APEX & NEXUS all use the same Smart Translators.

On PC, most games will use the Xbox One or Series X ST (they will feel different). But if it has a PC ST, use that.
