The XIM Manager "snap" issue is definitely fixed. No option to change the installation directory?

I'm not sure if you've fixed your problem...

Mine just stopped working as well. I tried moving the transfer cable to every USB port on my computer, including those on an add-on card; nothing work. I finally tried reversing the cable... IT WORKED!

Same as above... trying to bind keys, it sticks at "System Reserved."

I though I was the only only using LtracX for gaming with XiM4 .. lol. Not a special little gamer anymore.

Years ago, I used the same FighterStick USB and a Kensington Expert Mouse (trackball) with a XIM2. With the XIM3 and previously with the XIM4, I used a modified Panther XL (in "keystick" mode), but I got tired of it breaking recently, so I went back to using the FighterStick. The Kensington didn't work well with the XIM4, so I got the CST trackball.

While at home, I play at my desk anyway (even better now with the Asus 27" monitor), so using a computer (as with the XIM2) with the XIM4 is no problem.

I have the 3200dpi ones and setup with 2 extra button switches on the side made from meccano pieces.

They discontinued the 3200dpi trackballs; the new ones supposedly have better sensors. I looked at getting one with the jacks for extra buttons, but I have plenty of buttons on the joystick (I only use the right and middle buttons on the trackball).

does this work on w10? with this ? http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0093HCIQ0/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=

Yes. SandhawC also works with the F5U279 (I use that with Windows 10), which you may find for a lower price than the F4U060.

Works fine with SandhawC here. With 20151222, XIM Manager wasn't "docking" with SandhawC; now it is again.

That would be great; thanks.

Would it be possible to add the option of changing the enable/disable key (from PAUSE)? I would like to use SandhawC with my tablet when I travel; a simple USB numeric keypad would be preferable to using a full keyboard or having to use the Windows "osk" function in order to have the PAUSE key. Thanks in advance.

I got a similar message when I first tried it with my Windows tablet. It worked fine when I tried it with a desktop computer (tablet runs Windows 10 Pro 1511 64-bit, desktop runs Windows 10 Home 1511 64-bit).

The problem turned out to be that the power cord to the dock came loose, so the program wasn't detecting the mouse that was plugged into the rear USB port.

With one exception, this one fixed my issue with the XIM4 not recognizing the "keystick" portion of my modified Panther XL (the XIM4 previously often required unplugging/replugging the device in order for it to work). I only saw the purple lights once when I had to unplug/replug the Panther XL that one time. Hopefully the next version (this weekend?) doesn't "unfix" the issue.

General Discussion / Excellent Headphone Amp for the Price

I just purchased the Live Wire HA204 from Guitar Center (currently on sale for $49.99). It has a very clean sound.

I bought mine for other purposes in addition to gaming (the "ALT 3-4" outputs of my Mackie 1202-VLZ3 are connected to its balanced inputs), but I can confirm that it works well with a Turtle Beach DSS (connected to its front unbalanced TRS input) and the voice output of an Xbox One chat adaptor (connected to its rear balanced inputs).

How's your Internet service now? Coincidentally, I just bought and installed an SB6183, as my previous modem was slowing to a crawl and requiring a reboot at least daily (its status indicated many "uncorrectables" and the upstream power was too high). Right now, only one channel shows any "uncorrectables" (only 8 now), and the upstream power is down to a max of 42.3 dBmV, with one channel as low as 37.5 dBmV.

Some would say that the cable modem is almost never the issue, but I've had the modem be the problem with my Internet service twice.

Nyar where you been? Havnt seen you here for years. The original super soundwhore. Haha.

Yeah, I was dormant for quite a while. I mainly got an Xbox One to play with my son. I bought it in November to take advantage of the Best Buy trade-in deal, then I had to leave for three months. I'm enjoying playing all the old Halo maps; it reminds me of when I used XBConnect to play with others before there was Xbox Live.

I just looked at when I first posted about my "alternative" set-up; that was back in 2011. How's your Mackie?
