Is it correct that they did not Update the apex legends st on the apex Manager...they did only publish new alc settings???

The new ST has replaced the old ST just update ur game files

I was very skeptical when LITHE said what ALC settings they were gonna use, but I said I would put my faith in mist and boy was I right.

This is by far the best config I have ever used in Apex. Might be the best translation I've ever felt in any game with XIM, and on default settings at that. It feels so 1:1 and has amazing micro-movements with amazing aim assist interaction. Might need to add a little SA to help MM during aim assist but man this config is good. Great work guys

Let's go! Could we know a little bit of the ALC values it's going to be using?

Default Curve, default deadzone, max outer deadzone, Max pitch and yaw, no extra pitch and extra yaw because thats timed acceleration.

kinda doubtful on if its the best, but you guy are the mods so ill take ur word for it

@Trainers

Can you guys see how this set-up feels. Obviously the Yaw/Pitch speeds maxed out.

This would suck with xim imo

Apex Legends is being looked at right now.

To the people creating the new ALC st - Do you guys know the kind of optimal settings for ALC? I think you should consult with someone who plays the game for like a few base set ups maybe Maria or oldmanclutch if he's still around I don't know

hard to say since we're making ALC settings based on an ST made for default settings.

General Discussion / Re: Ps5 & xim apex compatibility

Picking up a PS5 tomorrow morning (21 hrs away, but whos counting), first thing i will be doing is testing the XIM and will post here my results.

any updates?

I'm not sure what recoil thing you're talking about

It's being looked at with Hyper Scape.

1) With the deadzone settings on the advanced look controls (if mist is looking at this look at using values in between preset values by lowering the left stick sensitivity and click in between two values) we can get far better micromovements than we can get with default ST and settings especially on PS4.

It sounds like it will be hard or not possible to use smaller values without lowering the left stick sensitivity? These settings will need to be used by many gamers around the world. I worry that some analog players may not understand this step or forget to switch it back. This affects the run speed or it's responsiveness right?

The ALC deadzone only affects the right stick, the left stick dead zone is a separate setting outside of the ALC afaik, so even if you set the ALC dead zone to 0, it doesn't affect how the left stick functions. AFAIK, none of the ALC settings affect the left stick. With that being said unless I put my ALC to 0 or 0.5 I've never noticed any aim drift, but I do feel this is because of the response curve and the ST's curve, so if you plan to use 0 response curve this may be something to look into

We will take a look after we are done with Squadrons.

If you need an advice on how to deal with the ALC, myself, Maria, PEEKABOO and Oldmanclutch606 know the ALC very well.

With the ALC for Apex legends being out for so long I believe that the Apex Legends needs a new ST which used the Advanced look controls and here's why.

1) With the deadzone settings on the advanced look controls (if mist is looking at this look at using values in between preset values by lowering the left stick sensitivity and click in between two values) we can get far better micromovements than we can get with default ST and settings especially on PS4.

2) With being able to manually adjust response curve and threshold and threshold acceleration we can get perhaps better 1:1 translation

3) With advanced optic settings we can get 1:1 settings for every zoom level as well which is a huge problem especially when using ARs and trying to compensate for recoil.

Fortnite has advanced look settings, I believe it's time that Apex Legends also gets and ALC ST. It will make the game play experience much better as many ALC users can vouch for. With the tools and experience that mist and the XIM team has I am certain they can make an ALC ST far better than the community can.

I had a Mayflash Maxshooter One before getting a Xim Apex. It worked well for me only on apex legends (Because I could change the response curve and the advanced look control were that good). It had it's issues though. On games like COD it felt unusable. Often times it wouldn't pick up my d key on my keyboard which made games like Apex unplayable. Delay wasn't really noticeable however. The ST and software is what makes Xim the best. Any schmuk can make a MnK convereter (heck you can make one with a Raspberry Pi) but game devs all have weird aim and different aim mechanics on console so the ST's are a godsent

I would love if Mist would take the time to do a ST for this game, i have 10 keys to give away if needed.

Just dont think he will make a ST yet. Even that we have training grund and bots so making a ST would not be hard for him but still dont think he will yet but still Hope ;)

Hey bro can u send me one of ur extra keys? I could really use one.
