What pIatform do you pIay on? A friend of mine pIays on pc and has this issue at times. I think he knows the cause/fix I can ask him for you.
Ground loops can be caused by a variety of devices plugged in to different outlets inside the home. I can tell you any usb isolator will work.

Everyone i know says when i use push to talk, my audio is distorted and they can not understand what i am saying... could this be a possible solution or would this be a waste of money.

While a good product, I wouldn't buy that one. I would go for the HiFimeDIY USB Isolator.

You'll need to find a non-gaming designated board. The only one I'm aware of is the K63 and apparently it chews through batteries, so that immediately lost me. I already have a wireless mouse, headset, phone...too much crap to charge already! I really, really didn't want to add a keyboard to the list of things I have to plug in each night.

I'm presently using the Logitech K780 and I bloody love it. I think it has 2 years battery. It's not mechanical but it's not membrane either (it's scissor), so it's a nice compromise. See my sig for a scissor keyboard guide to learn more.
I don't play every day and I have had the k63 for about 2 or 3 months. I haven't charged it once.

Any k63 owners plz help,  are all Corsair k63 wireless or is there some that are usb also??
Iím just getting confused in the description of these keyboards, price difference on some online shops is a lot and I was wondering that the cheaper k63 are usb only and more expensive ones are wireless.
They have one that's wireless and one that isn't. The I will that is wireless can both be wired or wireless. I think the difference is one is red and one is blue.

We have a fix for this keyboard that we are testing. I'll send you a PM with it so you can try it out.
Have you pushed this fix?

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 650s, could I use the Sound BlasterX G6 and still have chat functionality on the PS4 Pro.
Yes, but you'll need to plug the headphones into the G6. The G6 has a headphone output, mic input, spdof/3.5mm source audio input, and a 3.5mm/spdif output ideally for speakers or other headphones that you don't want to be amplified.

You need to plug the g6 to PS4 via USB and the. Spdif from ps4 to spdif in of g6.

HiFiMeDIY makes a group loop isolator that works via USB. It's actually really good and I use it for all my controllers and products both PS4 and Xbox on the XIM. It won't effect the hz or Ms response times. I use this for all my audio USB products that don't require the high speed version which is about 3x the price.

Does push to talk still work?

Does apex require replugging on every start up with the PS4 Pro?
It works but certain games don't work unless you're in party chat. No you don't need to unplug.

Are you using APEX at 1000hz? If so please try the two options below.

1)
Open Manager
Edit the game config you intended to play
In the Identity section of your config enable Audio Compatibility Mode
Test

If this doesn't help then please try the next option.

2)
Open Manager
Go to menu-global settings
Set Response Rate to 125hz
Save
Disconnect and reconnect APEX to the console for the change to be active
Test
1) Audio Compatibility Mode does not exist

2) Did not work

Good afternoon. I am looking to setup my PS4 and PC to the same monitor and I am looking for a solution (maybe some sort of USB splitter?) so that I can go from using my KB/M on my PS4 via the Xim Apex to then using the same KB/M on my PC without having to unhook everything from the Apex and plug it into the PC. Thanks.
I use multiple IOGEAR USB 3.0 switches for my sound stuff and all my peripherals.

Sorry I'm not sure why that would be. Could it possibly be due to a console or account settings that restrict game chat? There may be game settings that disable game chat as well. Hopefully other PS4 players can comment on this.
Normal game chat works fine unless using xim PTT feature.

Are you having this issue with a standard headset without an adapter?

Also, APEX supports controller chat using v2 controller types. This type has a lightbar built into the touchpad. Are you using a v2 controller?
I am using the V2 PS4 Pro controller. I am either using a mic/headset splitter to input or a normal headset with a mic. Again it works 100% with party chat, however game chat doesn't seem to work at least in CoD or Overwatch.

I'm trying to use PS4 Push To Talk feature. I noticed it only works when. I'm in party chat or testing my mic in the menu, however for games like Overwatch or CoD Blackout it doesn't work unless in party chat. While OW has PTT, most games don't. If you test it, you won't see the icon light up in games that have in game chat.

Yes I've managed to connect a Blue Yeti USB mic to the PS4 Wired controller via 3.5mm and am getting both chat sound and and able input mic via 3.5mm so it should work. I tested with a modmic as well. No go still.

So with games like Fortnite you need to toggle for crouch rather then press = crouch and unpresss= stand. Is there any way we can add functionality for simulating this behavior?
