XIM 4 Discussions / Any XBOX ONE Destiny 2 US East Coast XIM4 Clans?

Hey y'all I've seen a discussion for the UK but nothing for the US I am looking for a clan of like minded Ximmers to play Destiny 2 with on the XBOX ONE. I've hit the end game plateau sitting at 273 power atm. Would like to look into finding a group to start doing the raids, trials of the nine and maybe some pub stomping to kill some time. Anyways hit me up my GT is IceMan40.

Hey all I know this thread has gone a little silent. However, wanted to let everyone know I have XIM4 up and running on my Switch using the Brooks Adapter (http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/01745934/). Also confirming analog movement works. Just been fine tuning my translator profile to feel more fluid.

Cool, thanks for the info. So you're using the XB->Switch adapter that you linked, right? Not the PS->Switch adapter?

I use XIM4 for XBOX so I bought the XBOX adapter. I would think it would have the same results for those with a PS4 setup wanting to use XIM on their switch as well. But I can't test and don't know if it works with the XIM PS controller setup. Would need someone else to test and confirm. I can only confirm it works with the XBOX controller XIM setup.

Works pretty good. Only problem I’ve found is finding the right ST to start with to setup a game profile. I feel like Splatoons has a weird look mechanic that would need the trainer to get perfect. But I’ve found one in the evolve st I can live with and it feels almost like it were natively supported.

I think the only downside to this setup is that we don’t have specific ST support for the games on Nintendo so your left with finding the best fit for purpose ST you can find. I am hoping others will try out so we can help each other find the optimum ST to work with while XIM determines whether or not to officially support the Switch. But until more shooters get announced for the Switch I can understand it being low/non priority.

just making sure, so you just set up the xim like normal but connect the brooks adapter to the switch and the xim cable to said adapter

I first paired the XBOX controller per the instructions that came with the Brooks adapter then I plugged everything back into the XIM how I would normally use it for the Xbox except I plugged the USB into the Brooks adapter. Works great. You need to get the initial pairing done with the controller for it to work I think.

Right now for Splatoons 2 the Evolve ST seems the best. Anywho, wanted to let people know it works so they can give it a try themselves. Would like to see others suggestions and profiles for other switch games. So I am don’t have to mess around to much finding the best setup.

Had a similar scare as well. I was connecting via bluetooth via parallels on a mac for changes. It seems somehow the hidden XIM Apps files had become corrupted, I was able to connect for a while but couldn't update any key bindings and any new config I created went nuts on me and had some arabic lettering above the picture. Then it finally gave up and I was getting the Red-Green-Blue loop. Ultimately, had to do a fresh install and remembered from previous updates that I had to delete the Hidden XIM Apps files before updating. This fixed everything and now its working flawlessly.

Beta / Anyone using XIM with Watch Dogs

Hey there y'all. Wondering if anyone has attempted using the XIM Edge or XIM4E with Watch Dogs. If so what ST are you using and do you modify the Ballistics Curve. Any suggestion for setting up a config would be greatly appreciated.

All of my attention has been on the XBone. I've been playing BF4 as of lately. I am finding I enjoy playing it  more than Titanfall or Ghosts. Would love to get together with some fellow ximmers however I just don't see many folks on the XBone these days. If any of y'all play BF4, Ghosts or Titanfall on the XBone hit me up with a friends requests and lets group up. Running in a party is always more fun than running solo.

Ok got that burning itch down south again.

Sounds like XIM4E is somewhat stable now (with minor bugs to fix and feature requests being worked on on an as needed basis), the PS4 is now supported, XBone headset adapter working, enclosures are being fabricated, and things are trucking along pretty well. (As a side note: I have this money burning a hole in my pocket in anticipation for the XIM4 and can continue to wait patiently for my chance to cash in on the awesomeness).

But what I can't wait for is some news on the status of the iPhone app. Will the beta's get a chance to test it? Will it release with the XIM4, now that there are delays in the enclosures? Is it even on radar or will I continue to be relegated to PC for my config updates? Would love to get some insight into where the iOS support stands and I can finally marry the two devices who have been engaged for quite some time now.

Thanks for any info you feel like sharing. Feel free to disregard, it just feels good to get these internal conflicts down in words. ;-)

Thanks for the replies. Wanted to post a follow up.

I realized that the hit or miss BT connectivity had to do with the XIM4E trying to authenticate on the the 360. As long as my 360 is powered off and not trying to authenticate it connects to PC no problem. If the XBOX is on and trying to authenticate the controller then I cannot connect to PC. Hopefully this will fix itself when a solution to the XBOX 360 not authenticating issue is resolved.

Also I figured a driver didn't need to be installed I just wanted to check.

Beta / XIM4E Driver not installing.

Is a driver suppose to install with the XIM4E when we connect to PC via BT. I am getting an error that says driver not installed. It seems connecting via Bluetooth is also hit or miss on the PC. I have to remove the device and reconnect the device in order for the XIM4E app to recognize the device on the PC. A little weird. Just curious if it could be a problem that is caused because the driver is not getting installed onto my PC. I have another issue with the XIM4E not authenticating on the 360 but I am trying to resolve that issue thru Alans thread.

Just tested everything on the XIM4E as well still not working for me on the 360. Going to try to do a restore to factory settings and start fresh

When plugging back my 360 I used the following setup.

Right Port - BT Adapter
Middle - Xbox 360 Controller
Left - USB Hub (Mouse + KB)

My 360 controller just blinks at me and does nothing. Little confused. Anyone help me out?

I am having the same issue with the 360. The XIM4E connects to the PC and I can setup configs wirelessly, which is awesome BTW. However, the controller just sits there blinking and appears like its not authenticating with the XBOX 360. Basically, the XIM4E is not working on 360 for me. I don't have an XBone to test with yet. Let me know if you figure something out.

Beta / XIM4 - IPhone (iOS) App Discussion

Since we are getting close to the XIM4E Beta I figured I'd start this thread for the many folks who have an IPhone and are wondering the status/updated info on where the App for the IPhone stands. I have consistently checked the forums for updated info on this feature and can't seem to find any concrete information.

From my impressions the Iphone app is on the back burner and we will be required to buy an android devices if we wish to use a wireless phone size screen until the IPhone is supported. Other option is to connect the XIM4E, and future XIM4, wirelessly to a PC via bluetooth to make your updates/create profiles.

Currently, I could not find any information as to when support of the IPhone is targeted. If I can dig up any more info on this topic I will post here. If you have more information to share please do.
