Hi,

So is this product work now with xim apex? Wired or Wireless? I play only on console Destiny 2.

Thanks.

Yes. Wired. I play 90% destiny 2 with it, on XIM4, but should also work on Xim Apex.

Oh I got the Logitech G903 ambidextrous with the wireless charging mouse pad. You can just remove the buttons on one side, its great. I use that for PC though. For XIM I use an older Razer Ouroboros. Sometimes I see some of those fancy flagship mice for right handed people and really wish I could give those a spin too though like the new Logitech G502.

I think not everything needs to be focused on making the most business as possible. As long as Imants is happy, it really doesn't matter how large he scales it because its his craft. It has a romantic ring to it an I kind of like this is a hand crafted, custom product of which there are not many of. The interactions here, per message and on the facebook page have a more personal nature which I appreciate.

The other thing I would be personally worried about mass production is that THE main attraction for me about the Azeron is that he can easily create left and right handed versions. In mass production where you have to create expensive molds, it would make little business sense to make molds for a left handed audience since its such a small percentage of the population and you would not get your investment back, like when Razer did a run of the naga for left handed people and ran a loss on that line.

Also i don’t know if anyone has experienced this, when I update to the latest firmware, I can unable to actually sprint in any game. It’s just a slow jog.
Wondered if anyone else experienced this and what they did to fix it?

Thanks

I am assuming you are using it on profile 2 (2 lights on on the side) which is joystick mode? If so, you can reduce the distance you need to move the stick so that it registers "maximum distance". I think it was when you click on the little cog wheel option button on the thumbstick section of the azeron app and you will have something called a "Deadzone" you should try reducing it to like 250 on the max end. I have like 200 which is a bit much maybe, so 230-250 should be fine. What this does is that when you move the stick, it will think you have moved the stick to the maximum position when you maybe have moved it only half/three quarters of the way.

In your case the deadzone max might be too high, so even though you moved the stick to its limit, the software thinks you are not at the limit yet and so it just walks slower.

Hi Iíve been using the Azeron for about a 2 months now on fortnite and I use the middle finger press button for the build button. Every now and then when I click the build
Mode it will double press and go back to build mode. I canít actuallly remember it happening the other way
I donít know if this is a bug or my Azeron is playing up?
Thanks

In the azeron app, if you click "About" on the left side, the lowest option is "button throttle", you can increase that value so that the azeron forces a pause before it processes the next input. This way you can prevent the "ghosting".

So my problem is not necessarily the deadzones. I think i have 200 max anyway. But I usually move the stick to its max distance no matter the deadzones and I feel the underside of the short stick rub against the housing at its furthest point and if I give it a bit more pressure, it kind of levers the stick a bit out of the socket. I will try to file the underside of the short thumbstick a bit so I have a larger margin between thumbstick and housing and see if that works.

Honestly the most ideal stick would be the domed version and a height of halfway between the short convex and medium domed one. The medium domed one feels really good but is just a smidge too long so I feel like I lose a little bit of time having to move the stick a further distance going back and forth. Really surprised that you can't buy it anywhere. There are so many copies of the xbox elite magnetic thumbsticks but they all copied the originals one to one instead of providing different lenghts and tops.

I tried using the shortest stick, but it was so short that the underside of the stick rubbed against the housing when I push it to its maximum distance. I might have to just file off the underside of the short stick. I also googled if I could buy the domed stick but shorter, but surprisingly I could not find that.

Not sure about the activation delay, you'll have to experiment with that. Regarding the deadzone, if you feel you reach max speed fast enough, you can leave the deadzone as it is, but if you feel like it take too long to reach max speed, lower the deadzone to like 250, so that you are at the max input level earlier in your stick travel.

You've gotta show us where to get that stick  :o
This was the one I bought, but there are others.

I got the idea after Imants mentioned that he was "thinking" about making  swappable magnetic sticks an extra option

Done and done! Thanks for the idea!

Anyone using control freeks with the azeron? I love the comfort they could add but don't want to ruin my thumbstick as they have ripped up some of my ds4's in the past

I put a new magnetic thumbstick in my Azeron compact ... (same as in the xbox elite controller) ... it will then give you a choice of 3 different thumbstick heights.

@#$% thats fancy. But probably requires soldering, no?

Currently not at home with my PC, but I'd think you have to look in the settings at the acceleration curve, so that the stick hits max a lot earlier, not at the end of its travel. I haven't had problems with that in destiny and BFV, but I did notice issue with it in PUBG where I had to go all the way to the max to for max walking speed and it's taking me too much time/travel distance of the stick.

Alright it's been a long time! My azeron rocks still, I absolutely love it. One thing that other people might want to hear is that whenever I plug it into the xim I have to press the mode button and switch to and from the two modes. If I don't do this, non of the buttons work properly. Also I still haven't really messed with the dead zone on the analog stick, maybe I could make it better but I don't really know how it can get better than I have it now.

I have to do the same thing, two clicks of the side button and I'm golden.  I agree with the deadzone, I don't really know what I'm looking for and could probably have a better setup but does the job just fine

Same here.

Have you looked at the Azeron which has like 55 pages of comments in this forum? It's pretty nice.

Oh wow, that is inspired! It also looks like a building floor plan I'd have to raid in PubG :D You'll definitely appreciate the minimal finger travel distance of the Azeron switches. I didn't even think about it until I had it.

Hmm haven't had any profile issues yet. When I got my azeron i just flashed it to the newest FW and been using that no problem. I use it exclusively on Xbox currently since I haven't played anything on PC recently but I'll give that a swing later on.
I feel i got the keybinds under control because for an xbox controller you don't really have that many buttons. When I used it on PC i can imagine I will have to use a lot more. Currently I really only use the index and ring finger. Index push forward=spring, index press down = jump, index pull = crouch, ring finger push forward = reload/use, ring finger press down = change weapon. The rest I have on the 2 thumb buttons of my mouse, and one random pinky pull button for right stick push which i never use. But In my mind I limit it to 3 movements on index 2 on ring finger and that allows me to keep it real simple in my head for now.
