The G502 is a good mouse, great sensor but it's prone to button switch problems like debris being trapped under the button or the switch failing. It's been worth the hassle for me, I couldn't go back to a two side button mouse so I put up with it.

Thanks for the feedback. I think i can accept the „problems“ as long as it doesn't affect gameplay too much / heavily. I mean i can get one from a friend for 20€ so i think its worth to try it out.

Hello Community.

I have a question..
I am actually using a Razer Deathadder Elite with my xim4 (yes im an oldschool xim4 user) :p i realised that my razer is somehow not very well for the xim4. Especially when i play R6 i can feel like some „Delay?“ i mean it feels „spongy“. So i tested the old old old Logitech G5 (laser sensor) from my brother and it was waaaaaaay more responsive, not spongy or delayed.. so i was thinking about buying a new mouse, cuz i think the razer isnt that well..

Since i dont have any high budget, i thinking of buying a Logitech G502 proteus Spectrum.

A lot says g502 is an awesome mice, even evey model of them, can somone verify this?
Does any1 here plays with the proteus spectrum?

Hey, der Name der Datei verrät ihr Alter. Eine XIMMR Datei die 20200101 heißt ist z.B. vom 1. Januar 2020!
Das selbe System gilt auch für deinen XIM Manager oder deine XIM Firmware.

Alles klar, dann weiss ich jetzt was ich wissen muss 😂 vielen vielen dank ☺️ War schon am verzweifeln hahaha

Hey,

ja genau einfach den XIM4 Manager benutzen, die Schritte sind dann exakt die selben.
Was den Manager angeht, das hängt von der XIMMR Datei ab die du benutzen willst. XIMMR Dateien die älter sind als der 15.12.2020 können nur mit dem 2016er XIM4 Manager benutzt werden. Für alle anderen XIMMR Dateien kannst du den aktuellen XIM4 Manager benutzen.

Okay soweit verstanden 😂 jetzt mal ganz dumm gefragt, wie finde ich raus wie alt die XIMMR ist? Bzw von welchem datum? 😀

Servus, ich wollte gerade ebend meinen Xim4 über den pc connecten um die XMMR database zu downgraden (Tutorial ist von Xim Central auf YT) da mein Pc kein bluetooth kann muss ich den Wired Mode benutzen. Die xim leuchtet, alles gemacht wie beschrieben und der pc nimmt sie auch an, der Manager allerdings sagt mir „Failure writing XIM APEX [6]“ auch trotz das ich den wired mode aktiviere. Liegt das am xim apex manager? Denn der wird im downgrade tutorial auch als xim4 user zum benutzen genannt.

E: ich bin blöd. Irgendwo in den kommentaren wars versteckt das ich den xim4 manager benutzen soll, die frage is nur welchen? Ich hab den von 2016 ausprobiert der allerdings lädt aber dann wieder die neuste version der config herunter.. ich bräuchte da mal bisschen hilfe

I was wondering if its able on xim4 to downgrade the apex legends and R6 config?
I was reading much the older versions are better? I personally dont know the differences but i want to try it

Would be great btw too if someone could share the old files since i cant find them anywhere, same with „how i downgrade“ then.

Could you share which console you're using and if you're using the latest version of game support?

To verify the current version of game support used open Manager, verify the correct config is loaded, then click the center of the game picture. Hidden text will appear at the top of the game picture. The last digit of the text is the version number. In this example the text stands for Battlefield 5 - Hip - Xbox One - version 1.



Please verify your config's version number.

I am using the Playstation 4 Slim (500GB)

Hi.

I was wondering if somone can help me maybe. Is it the Rainbow6 Siege Lookmechanic/Acceleration that makes my Aim so weird / Uncomfortable? Or did i something wrong? I use the Recommended Ingame Settings. My aim feels so delayed / spongy.

Do i need some Ballistic Curves or something? I saw many YT vids from xim4 R6 players they can easily flick and have almost perfect aiming, doesnt seems delayed or spongy.

I am Using a Razer Deathadder Elite with 10k DPi. Also tried with 16k and 3.2k always the same.

I've never had to describe that screen so hopefully that's understood through translation. I'll clarify though because I won't be available later.

Overview / Recent Apps looks like this on iOS. Swipe the app up and away to close the app.


It's the same look on Android except you're able to press on the window, select app info then force stop.

Aight. I tryed it out. It stops crashing while i playing. But if i go back on my phone and start the manager to tweak my settings or something it crashes again instantly at the bluetooth connect. So i have to plug in, do my settings. Close app to test them ingame and when i want to tweak them, i need to re-plug my xim and MnK all the time but seens like a workaround for the time until it gets fixed.

Yes, leaving your phone on and open will cause a crash. My suggestion is to fully close Manager before continuing to play. This is done just by swiping the app away from the Overview screen on iOS.

If using Android try holding the Manager's app icon from your app list then go to app info and force stop the app. This can also be done by swiping up into the Android Overview menu or in Settings > Apps.

I will try it right after getting home from work. Thanks to this point! I will reply again if it still crashes! 🫶🏻

Try closing Manager instead leaving it open or allowing the screen to turn off while Manager is active. Does this prevent the crash?

Sorry my english isnt that good. If u mean if it crashes when i close my phone screen while editing configs and it crashes then, yes it does. But even if i dont close my phone, after a few minutes my xim crashes too..

Hi!
Since yesterday my xim4 is flashing white lights. Seems like my configs are corrupted or my firmware. I just factory reseted my xim4 without restoring any configs or something. When i plug my xim4 in it starts normally. I can pick game configs, edit them, save them but when i start to play, after a few button presses my xim starts flashing solid white lights.. please help.

Is someone out there with a playable rainbow6 siege confing and would like to share it with me? Its kinda hard for me to make a config. The lookmechanic is so @#$% @#$% in this game :/
