According to my calendar BF 2042 was released 14 days ago. This might be the longest we ever waited for an ST for a AAA title, just sayin....

I am just using this time of only having the option of playing with unplayable ST's to just sit on C1 on breakthrough and rank up all my weapons and vehicles ect. So far I have only played 2 matches in actual multiplayer. Making the most of it I guess..

The team is enjoying some holidays, ST is going to be online somewhen next week (hopefully  )

2 weeks after release on the most anticipated game of the year. Not good enough imo.

It’s free software.  Are you really complaining that free software isn’t made fast enough?

I guess I am  Its not really free software though, its a service partnered with the hardware you "buy". I just felt like the ST would have came faster and I'm keen to play on a usable ST. Please dont say use BFV, I have been, the ADS is garbage and the vehicles are uncontrollable

I’ve run into this before, and I’m wondering if the console & PC games are setup differently…

Basically I can’t use a mouse (& navi) to fly any aircraft to save my @#$% life 😁 … I’m constantly needing to reset the mouse on the mousepad because of the way a mouse only registers when moving and I’m wondering:- Does this mean on PC that’s just what you have to do or are the games ‘setup’ differently to kind of help with this?   

I know there’s the Turn assist option but it doesn’t work for me tbh.. this is one area that I think any advantage with a mouse is negated by the difficulty of not going straight into the ground like a f*%ing lawn dart 😂

Anyone had any luck with this issue or is it just a case of putting the time in to git gud ?

Yeah using the turn assist or mapping a key to pitch and down on the right stick is the only way, there just isnt the turn speed to do it with a mouse drag alone. Almost all jet pilots on PC map key to pitch up and down too. Its just a matter of getting used to it.

My only real problem is how to fly the choppers.
I can't use the mouse to get the chopper to pitch up and down. Super slow.
I know you can flip controller layout etc, but that's not natural. Want to freelook and aim with mouse (so to speak) with the pitch and roll or yaw.

bind a key to pitch up and down. You can use turn assist or bind a key to the right stick. Its what the PC guys do.

No ST works really well , BF1 ST @#$%, BF5 ST @#$%, Battlefront 2 @#$%, BF4 @#$%.

Yep, just better off waiting. Should have it before long.

Hopefully by the time the St is ready the game will be in a playable state

Having no ST makes the game unplayable..

Theres no point in making an ST when  Dice is going to change the look mechanics and
/or aim assist in the next two updates tomorrow or December 7th.

Well I guess by that logic there is no point making any ST for any game ever, as devs are always making changes..

How long does an official ST usually take to make, its been close to a week already. I might be misled in thinking its a short process.

Sometimes the native KBM support is total garbage. I remember Modern Warfare on xbox had native support but was actually terrible and I reverted back to using a xim.

Is it just me or is the attack heli literally uncontrollable? Its as if the yaw function doesnt work at all, or is extremmely slow, to turn you need to roll onto the side and pitch up, its just terrible. Not sure what they are thinking...
