Why does building on right mouse mess up ur aim? Its just activated while holding the right mouse or am I wrogg?

It can affect you building.

If you have Xim ADS enabled at a lower sens then Hip, when you build with RMouse your building will be slower, and if noticeable can be annoying.

I like some increased Y in Fn for quite a few reasons. Especially helpful if you use a low sens.

Drop shot from above (Fn is very vertically based, RARELY on the same plane as your targets)), helps building (look fully down/up while placing builds is important) and quicker reflex to head during AA (like you stated about the pull to torso Ďlockoní).

Fortnite is only good because of how novel the building/editing it. Itís meta is actually quite different than most FPS.

The shooting model seems to be based from Gears of war. If it had normal FPS aiming the building would be pointless, and it would be like any other FPS.

Not saying bloom is great, but it works with building, and it works to slow down the gameplay, in a sense.

Well it could have a normal shooting model, but they also cater to casuals. (Donít want to forget that!). Not a real esport. Maybe if they do small team/small map, 4v4 etc, will it have a real competitive drive.

This is feeling really nice. Snappy aiming and building. Itís fast but it mows down baddies.

The game has accelerated look movement, and possibly other issues, that make XIM mouse performance not as good as other games.

im running 16kdpi,1000hz,default sync and it feels really sticky when entering the AA bubble , Help please

Have you tried 200 SAB for ADS only? Seems to help mea TON! Cheers

Not 100% sold on using a curve for FN. I go back and forth ďcurve and no curve.Ē Both seem playable with their differences.

Yes. Especially nice if you use R Mouse to build. Huge aim improvement feeling with max SAB.

Makes me jealous of analog. Thatís gotta be super sticky AA.

Ya I totally agree with you. The experience was poor for me. Apologies for my salty ness.

But it is my option that native MnK Fn on console is poor. XIM is much better (opinion, again). This is not unfounded, as it is my experience given the specific question that started the conversation.


We have gone far from the original postís intent.

Ya XIM is 100x better than native on Xbox. Not perfect PC, but still very good.

Huh? Native mnk on fortnite console is just like PC + the input lag that generally comes with consoles, XIM is not very good in Fortnite because the look mechanics on thumbstick are bad compared to games like CoD or BF where the thumbstick mechanics can be customizable and acceleration completely removed.

The only good thing about XIM on fortnite is aim assist

Huh? Did you read the OPís question? I answered his question. He asked about XIM vs Native on Xbox playing Fn. Heís speaking to the separated lobbies. Itís much better to fight people with the same hardware, regardless of input. So yes, XIM enables this and does a very nice job. 100 times better, IMO.

Itís legit. Do some reasech if you donít trust the advice from other when you ask for it.

Itís both technical, as you just described, and itís feeling based too (feels like crap).

What type of answer are you trolling for? I donít get it.


To be a little more detailed, in my opinion: here is a simple metaphor:

Pc is a race car. Handles well, lots of speed and very accurate. The peak of performance of which all others are judged.

XIM is like a race truck. Itís fast and it does well, but itís a race truck. Itís not aerodynamically perfect, but itís fast. Handles well. Good speed.

Native MnK is like a regular production truck. It can turn. It can drive fast. But has nothing like the other cars. Not made for the task, but you can still drive it to the start line and race the other vehicles.


This isnít a perfect example but kinda gets to the point.

They all operate the same in a sense ( itís simple input to control a game) ... but the way they do it is mechanically different and you get very different results.


What would you rather dig a grave with? A shovel, a spade or your hands.

No. Native keyboard and mouse is just not playable. Itís nothing close to PC mouse and itís nothing close to XIM. Itís just sad how bad native MnK is.
