In Destiny 2 I overrite the in game curve with a linear curve from the XIM Nexus App. I have for both, sticks and motion a linear curve. This feels so much more snappy in my opinion, you can turn and aim much faster. Try it out!

A few days ago, I had to play destiny on my Series X with the normal controller with the normal in game curve and I stopped after 15min, because I couldn‘t even run a vanguard strike :D I‘m so used to the linear curve, which Nexus provides, that when I play with the standard curve of the game, I can not play this game anymore :D

When I'm at home later, I'll past you my config in here...but I'm on the latest Nexus Beta with everything. Adapter, Controller and App. So its necessary that you are on the same version or my code won't work for you! I'm also on the latest public beta for iOS 16.4. but I think this doesn't matter much...

@antithesis And yes on iOS you can connect the Xim Nexus via Bluetooth and it gets recognized as a normal Xbox Controller :D like ZioCompensite said :D

I use it on my iPad Pro 12.9".

First I use the Black Ops 4 ST because CoD Mobile is more or less based on the same look mechanic. Then I set up every slider to 100 in the controller settings in the game itself and dialed in my sens in the Nexus App.

For motion I use a linear curve with a sens of 90 or 100 I'm not sure. But sens is personal preference so it doesn't matter much. Then for smoothing I set it on custom with the values of:

Response 90
Precision 5
Easing 6.5
Stability 50

Thats it! It feels very smooth and very good. Almost every game I light up a nuke :D

Good luck with these settings! Pls let me know if it helped you out!

Thx for the flowers! But I changed my settings a little while ago :D

For motion curve I use linear now for more consistent aim behavior in several games. For my smoothing settings I am on:

Precision: 10
Response: 90
Easing: 6.5
Stability: 50

Gyro always on and motion sensitivity 150. But the sens is personal preference :)

And then calibrate it!

What is a DualZone? Really...I don't know, I really wanna know it :D

This is what the Nexus User Guide says:

Quote
CHOOSE MOTION SMOOTHING SETTINGS:

There are four settings for customizing motion smoothing.
Start with all settings at 0 and then adjust one at a time
in this order:

Precision: Fine aim behavior. Higher values provide a
smoother result at low aim speeds and increases the
heaviness of the reticle.

Response: Fast aim behavior. Higher values produces a
lighter feeling reticle at faster aim speeds.

Easing: Aim behavior from rest. Higher values result in
smoother transition from rest but lower response time.

Stability: Aim behavior at rest. Increase to provide extra
stability at rest due to hand jitter and instability

I use a exponential curve. When you open the curve editor, I use the One which looks like this: ) <- its the middle one I guess.

Then the right stick is a bit slower and easier to aim.

13
Glad to hear that it worked! Then I wish you a lot of heli kills :D

You can't turn quicker as the game lets you do this. The turn speed is fixed. At least on console. If you wanna faster turn speeds you have to play on PC and bind gyro as a mouse. This is not official possible yet, but with reWASD. But like Od1n said, it will come to the XIM Matrix too as a Software feature.

Yes there is a way.

Racing Game Template (xim.tech) <- here I explained it for racing games. Its the same for flying tho. I also mentioned what to do for flying because I made it for The Crew 2.

Have fun!
