Anyone snipe w this config? Having inconsistent results when adsing, but shredding w ar’s and smgs
Oh trust me. It doesn’t get better with any other configs you’ll find. It’s just the way snipers behave in this game specifically. Just make sure you have you ADS activation delay set to the actual ADS time of the sniper you’re using as a start. (For example the ads time for the LW3-Tundra currently is 583ms with serpent grip.) In Cold War your bullet is not 100% accurate until about 1 frame AFTER you can see images in your scope. Anything before is considered a “hip-fire” therefore you’re at the mercy of in-game latency, input-delay, and last second AA bubbles issues. Get the ads value timing locked in, then mess around with your ads sensitivities, Smoothing and SA until you find something that “works”. But unfortunately too my knowledge there is no way to get that controller-like quick scope if that’s what you’re looking for, at least consistently. You might snap right onto 1 guy, and then your cross gets pushed away from where you had it on the next guy. At least in this game, to my knowledge, so far…lol

1000Hz RR with Sync Off will have the least input lag.
Not that it matters as forcing the Xbox USB port to 1000Hz can cause mouse jitter, audio garbling and skipped frames. If that happens, try 500Hz instead.
Don’t get hung up on input lag. Consoles are expecting 125Hz input wirelessly and 250Hz max over USB. Use whatever feels best to you.
Hey Blamer
I really enjoy your settings and testing methods a lot, I'm going to give this one (250hz common) a try!
I was just wondering - when you were testing your configs (specifically this 250hz common) on MW/WZ, did you play around with different SAB values? Did they have a negative effect on this config in your opinion?
Love the setup but I’m running xim at 1000hz too seems to suit me better.
Only problem I have is if I swipe then lift my mouse I keep turning in game until I put my mouse back down, any ideas?
Cheers
It almost feels unfair playing against PS players on cross platform games right now. They really can't compete against 1440p 120hz. Couple that with XIM performance on Series X and every lobby feels like you're on virtual Prednisone!
What competitive games are you playing 1440p 120hz? I've been trying to work out what games in series x offer this but they all seem to downscale the resolution to 1080p. Cold war didn't go so low... it's about 1200p, but definitely worse than 1440p.
I don't know what you're talking about? All my games I play... I play at 1440p 120hz on my Xbox Series X.... even if a game doesn't support 120 fps... your monitor will still display 120hz and it will feel smooth? MW & CW are my prime 2 games and they run flawlessly
I didn't say anything about how they run... and I don't know about MW because I don't play it any more... but CW does not run at 1440p 120hz and that's a fact. It runs somewhere around the 1200p mark when you play it at 120fps, which is still better than most games that downscale to 1080p at 120hz. And to my knowledge 120hz is not the same as 120fps. I play apex legends at 120hz but it still only gives me 60 fps, at a much reduced resolution to when I play on my 4k 60hz monitor... and it's certainly no smoother because the the console is still only putting out 60fps.
