Thanks for the heads up. Im not even paying for Xfinity internet and my old account worked.

OBsIV and Mist, I just wanted to thank you both for releasing these generic translators. They just might give us the options / control we need to make games on the Nintendo Switch play even better. I'm sorry to see the amount of disrespect on this thread, but I know i can speak for a lot of other people on this forum when I say that we are grateful for the time and effort you guys put in listening to us and making apex the best it can be. :)

Thanks a lot for the settings! It gave me a great starting point!

I switched from using the Magic-NS to the Titan One in TE mode (tournament mode). The Titan One in TE mode is smoother/faster but requires different settings than the Magic-NS. The Doom ST does not work well with it.

Here are my settings:
Titan One TE mode (Inframe In, Inframe Out, and 1000hz checked, all else unchecked, Nintendo Switch in output mode)

Xim4 settings:
Titanfall 2 (Hip)
30 sens
X/Y Ratio 2.0

Interesting, do you think using the Titan One made a difference in some of the deadzone issues mentioned in previous posts?

Yes the Titan One with a different ST (Titanfall 2 Hip) fixes the staircase deadzone issues that the Magic-NS has with the Doom ST. It also makes the game more responsive. I switched from the XIM4 to the Apex in 500hz mode and it made it even better.

Titan One (TE mode & in 1000hz) and XIM Apex in 500hz mode works incredibly well in Splatoon 2 with the Titanfall 2 Hip translator. Make sure XY ratio is 2.00 or above for linear mouse movement.

Skyrim on Switch also plays really well with this setup http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=66215.0

Also make sure to plug the Titan One or the Magic-NS into the USB 3.0 port on the Switch dock as it is faster after testing it vs the 2.0 ports.

edit* I trialed the Titan Two and it also works quite well. I'm unsure which device Titan One vs Titan Two feels better at the moment.

I finally got my hands on a titan one. I couldn't get it to work in TE mode, but otherwise it's working fine. I still notice the staircase deadzone while playing though, even when using the Titanfall 2 ST (both xbox and ps4).

Just out of curiosity, what controller do you have hooked up to your apex when playing with this setup? i'm thinking it may be a problem with xbox one controllers on the switch.

There is a lot of good discussion about the magic ns and Splatoon 2 on this thread

http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=58864.0

The general consensus is that the ps4 Doom ST works the best with the magic ns. There are some xim 4 and apex settings you can try out

thanks for the info!
Would you happen to know if apex + mayflash work with nitendo switch?
I know this is on the xim4 discussion but just wondering.

I've been using the mayflash adapter for months now. Its a servicable solution, especially for the price, but it has some issues with making micro movements, as it introduces some weird deadzone behavior. It's also worth noting that the mayflash adapter doesn't support higher polling rates of the Apex. If you have the money, go with the Titan one.

Can u just plug in a pro controller and have it work with xim4 and kb/m? Sorry new to all this

As of right now no. If support were to come to the switch, this is how I would imagine it working.

Man I really want switch support....

I've briefly thought about doing this for games on the Nintendo switch. (No support) if you make any breakthroughs post them! :)

If you are only getting it for your xim you should probably get something else. Otherwise using it on pc/xim link is great. Some people have had some issues with the keyboard requiring more power than the xim will provide, but using a powered hub fixes that.

This video should be able to explain it better than I can :)

The solution people generally use is to bind their sprint key to an auxiliary profile that increases the mouse sensitivity a lot. It helps to make larger turns will less mouse movement.

I have the exact same keyboard, and mine is plugged into a powered hub. You could plug the second usb into a nearby pc or your console for extra power.

How many grams does it weight ? I typically aim for light mice but also like the sniper button of the g402 for melee
It weighs 85g. I think its 40g lighter than the 502

Just tried it out, as a PS user I've never played halo. The native mouse keyboard is excellent, I don't see a need for Xim on it. It is a very fun game though, I was shredding on the "MLG" ranked servers. I wonder if the game will actually get a competitive scene, I like the gunfights.
Yeah I use native myself, I just had to satisfy my curiosity :).

What ever happened to the videos in the OP?

I actually just got my Gpro to replace my G502 a couple weeks ago. It's a night & day improvement on PC, but for some reason i don't feel the same about it on XIM. Perhaps the lighter weight leads me to make faster / more sweeping motions than i did with my 502.
