Everything Iíve seen and read indicates that xim users on consoles will be detected as mouse and keyboard players and will be thrown in with other mouse and keyboard players.  There will also be an in game icon that displays if players are using a mouse or keyboard. Xim players will have a mouse icon. If true, then that discredits what the guy above said about the dim being detected as a controller
Then you donít understand anything that youíve seen or read.

XIM converts mouse and keyboard actions into coding that the console understands as being from the controller. It therefore limits mouse movement to that which can be achieved by a controller because those movements are seen as a controller.

XIM users will be placed in lobbies with controller users, unless IW has come up with a way to identify XIM specifically, and Iím willing to stick my neck out and state that they havenít.

Haha. Ok

I understane what has been talked about In The community...widely talked about in fact. You tubers have said XIMs will be detected. And like I said if this isnít correct, the the flow of misinformation is being heavily distributed.  I know what Iíve heard you tubers say, that Input devices will be detected. Youíre willing to put your neck out. Thatís fine. Iím sure many would be happy that youíre right. But willing to put your neck out doesnít 100% mean your right. What Iím saying is that there should be official clarification

So then based off what you have read or heard through the grapevine COD is the first game to be able to tell if you are using a xim and will filter accordingly?  Any proof of this I would love to read what you have read?

Grrrr.haha.

Itís been talked about everywhere if you follow the community talk. Ace and driftor also talked about it recently

Ok so that article never mentions anything about any converters let alone xim. All it says is that you will be matched by input method. The keyboarders on console they are referencing are people who choose to use the native m&k that will be in the game.

Just to let you know I am not being an @#$% about this I just want proof that they have actually found a way to detect and filter/ban those who use converters.

Go into Reddit or follow some of these cod you tubers...Many are saying the same thing, that m&k devices will be detected. And just because it doesnít say XIm, it is heavily inferred by the community and no dev has said otherwise.  While there hasnít been anything written or said about any converter, the devs themselves have said input devices will be detected. If this is wrong then the devs should come out and say that it doesnít include com because the spread of mis information is currently happening everywhere.

So since Cross Play will work in MW similar to that of Fortnite, Players will be matched with other players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC that have similar input devices (using controllers). Cross Play will work between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and if you are using a controller, you will be placed in lobbies with players using controllers.

And, similar to cross play games like Fortnite, in Modern Warfare, if you are on PS4 or Xbox One and team up with a player on PC using a keyboard and mouse, you will then be placed in lobbies with all players ó regardless of input devices.

I guess my question is, if youre using a xim on a console, will it be detected and will you be put in a lobby with other mouse players?

Game Support / Re: BFV what's the best gun to use??
« on: 09:14 AM - 11/26/18 »
Ive been having the best success with support. The KE7 with 3x scope has to be one of the more OP guns in the game right now. Its a melting machine.

Im loving the Lewis with a scope right now. I rack up more kills with it then anything else. Its tough on hip fire but at mid range it destroys and even at long range you can take out snipers with good aim

Thanks. I didnt know the turning in destiny was slow.

I actually tried using the controller after all this and I thought the turn response was much much quicker with that...thus the reason I asked about the XIM settings. It felt night and day in fact so I thought I had something wrong in the settings.

So I rented Destiny 2 to check it out to see if I like it. I dowloaded Destiny 1 on the XIM app to use. I messed a bit with the sensitivities (and turned the in game look sensitivty all the way to 10) and everything seems find except when I want to turn right or left when I aim. It feels very sluggish and slow to turn.

How do I go about changing that so I get that turn on a dime feel?  SOrry for the Noob question

General Discussion / Elite Controllers vs XIM4?
« on: 09:53 AM - 12/07/16 »
So I have my XIM4 and, dont get me wrong, I like it. I am playing better with it then I did with my standard ps4 controller but I am just curious how the XIM stands up to an elite controller like a Scuff?

I have always used a mouse playing online and I know basically nothing about these elite controllers. In fact ive never heard of one until yesterday but I read a lot of the pros use them. I just wanted to get peoples thoughts about what they think

Also, there is a lot of heat on people who use the XIM. People call them cheaters.  What about Scuf users?

XIM 4 Discussions / Losing connection
« on: 02:40 PM - 11/16/16 »
Maybe its a faulty wire but the wire that hooks up the controller to the xim is more and more losing connection. Im in the middle of a game and I will lose all connection out of the blue. I have to then go the app and reconnect. At first it would reconnect no problem but now the wire has to be moved just in the right position in order to connect and to have the controller icon be recognized on the app which shows it is working correctly.

Maybe just an aging wire? idk...getting frustrated.  Do I just need to maybe buy a new wire? its a droid wire?

Hardware Compatibility / ps4 Headset??
« on: 08:22 AM - 10/24/16 »
So there is no easy way to find out what headsets work with the XIM4.  Ive searched here and there isnt much.

Can anyone recommend a good headset for the PS4 that will work with the XIM4?

$100 is what I got to work with.  I had the Gold headset and it worked but it didnt allow for my own voice feedback which I want
