Is it possible? My xbox one controller is old and I prefer the feel of the PS5 controller.

EDIT: The answer is yes. I managed to get it my PS5 controller working on my xbox using the XIM. You may lock/close this thread.

I have the neocon compact as well which worked fine with every other game, but is not working here.

Welp.... I guess that's 30 dollars wasted to buy the game.

I read from a different thread that when the "100" settings came out they didn't have 500 yet. When I moved them to 500 or max the config felt normal again.

Thanks. So I should just change the four settings above from "100" to "500"?

The advanced setting recommended by mist say:

However, with these advanced settings the mouse barely moves. And once you enable them, it seems that sensitivity setting outside gets greyed out and goes back to default.

It's probably something obvious that I'm missing here, but would appreciate some guidance. I remember couple years ago, the only thing was required was setting sensitivity to either 7 or 8 (whether you want aim assist or not)

It seems to me a waste to use XIM in this game as from what I've read and seen it's taking full advantage of the controller's functionality. The only game so far doing this other than Astro's Playroom. The difficulty seems mainly due to movement, awareness and it being a rogue like.. not aiming... Enemies are pretty large and there is a very heavy aim assist and some guns have homing ability even (again, based on reviews).

Mist already said somewhere they're not planning to support it as of now since it's a PS5 exclusive.

If you're set on XIM, I'd start with trying St's of other similar games... CONTROL comes to mind as a candidate.

Thanks for your feedback...I noticed you can assigned a different button for the secondary, so no need for the active trigger stuff.

It's hard for me...for sure. I usually do not use a controller at all. so I am getting pounded here...it may take some time to adjust. It is sad they don't have a story mode, at my age I am more for the game story experience than the challenge. I love sci-fi, so this game was something I was looking for... but the challenging gameplay is disappointed, to me at least. I am sure the younger crowd are having a blast Oh well, it is what it is...

I agree with you... These kind of games which are fast paced and where you have to move and aim at the same time are better played with a mkb. I'm also bad at aiming with a controller.

I actually tried overwatch ST and it was decent enough after I doubled its sensitivity. The game has a low max turn speed, so it won't feel perfect with any ST.

Gotta admit, it's a hella of a lot easier to manuever and aim now.

I'm just using Rogue Company ST with no modification whatsoever other the sensitivity to my liking.

Here's a video of me clearing CT 15 in gold time solo:

So you use rogue company st and default options on xim?no other page for ads?and default in game?

I double-checked now, and the only non-default thing I have is 50 on SAB, but I don't know if that makes any difference. No other ads page.

In-game setting is look sensitivity at max, and both ads sensitivities at 0.9.

I created another video of another solo CT 15 expedition if anyone is interested in watching end-game outriders content using XIM apex:

Sensitivity on xim? And what dpi and Hz?

4.00 on XIM. 16K dpi 1K Hz.

Yea I really hope a ST comes out for this game.  I just got it and Iím currently using the rogue company one and I donít like it.  It feels very clunky...I might try other to see if I can get better results.  Itís the ads that feels really bad.  It feels floaty... maybe itís the opening guns and their lack of stability/handling the idk.  If anyone else has any suggestions I there than the rogue company one please share.

Rogue Company ST is not perfect but pretty decent. I'm using it with only 50 SAB as a modification, and the sensitivity to my liking.

Here is a gameplay of me playing Outriders end-game solo. This is CT 15 (highest difficulty tier so far) and completed in gold time.

The game doesn't have an official ST yet, so I'm using Rogue Company's ST.

Any time scale for Outriders support?

Until the official ST comes out, try out Rogue Company ST... It works decently enough.
