Tried your config and it is very good for longer range maps, utilising pulse and sniper rifles.

Where it fails and this is the same for every single destiny config I have tried, is during close quarters combat with shotguns.

This is not a criticism of your config. When you peg a thumb stick on a controller, your character turns with some times acceleration which enables you to get on target when up close and personal.

When using mouse and xim, this pegging of the thumbs tick does not translate well and makes cqc very frustrating.

Hi Frash brang I really appreciate your opinion.. Now i'm testing something different that is better with shotguns, recoil and close quarters combat.I m glad if u give this a try.

Hey mate! Thanks for sharing! I have been away for the past 2 years and trying to catch up now.... quick question for your shotgun code.

What is the in game “7” that you are referring to?
Do you use polling rate of 1000hz different from the app polling rate of 250hz?
How does it work!? I remember the first thing was to get them to match in order to avoid jitter, etc.

If you can clarify that it would be great. I got the same mouse and I play more aggressive being in close range most of the time... whatever you can share its highly appreciated.

Hey mate, in destiny i prefer 6-7 ingame setting for better aim assist and for the same reason i prefer 250 Hz and avoid jitter on hi sensitivity on xim.

Understood! Even with 3200 DPI you reckon you could get any jitter? For 10000+ I get it but I thought 3200 we could run same refresh rate in the app as per mouse polling rate. Anyway I give it a go when i get the chance....

Not playing this game for a while makes you quickly regress for sure, if i don't play for a few days it can take hours for me to warm up. Its speed of thought (and execution) that suffers.

I have been using a different config, not due to any aim change i'm aware of, just to see how i performed and compare.

D1sable are you still removing the ads settings with this current config like you did when you were at the 3200dpi

Tried this settings. HIP feels good but too slow in my opinion. I had to bump it up. Now ADS is still tweaking. I tried disabling the XIM ADS yesterday as someone suggested here and it feels ok. But cant tell the difference.

Now comparing all my setups so far I reckon I was more consistent with low dpi... dont know why.

I have been struggling to stick with one setup.

Has anybody else found that something feels off with their aim since the recent changes they made to ads to address ghost peeking. There’s the issue of your body blocking the reticle sometimes which they are aware of. But something else feels weird too and I can’t quite work out what it is. My aim seems to slow down and accelerate unpredictably at times. That’s about the only way I can describe it. Even chopping down a tree my aim seems to occasionally drag slowly.

Have seen posts on reddit and Fortnite forums saying that the aim assist is playing up. Apparently there is issues with aim assist not activating properly sometimes. Also apparently there is a bug where aim assist will activate over a location where a player had previously died. The ads sensitivity setting name was changed to “controller targeting sensitivity” and x/y was changed to 0-1.0 instead of 0-10, and some have said that their sensitivity has felt messed up since that.

I’m losing tons of close quarter fights especially. I was at 30% solo win rate so far this season. The last few days though my win rate is only 12%.

I have the same problem in regards to the aim slowing  down unpredictably... i also notice when chopping down trees etc...
The thing is... still playable, but of course it could be better. But as the other guy just said, I think this is an Epic’s issue...

It's a tad floaty feeling compared to common.  Try to adjust your ADS. Might help as ARs use that. I use around 80% of my Hip.

Forgot to ask, does Mjfame settings has 500 or 1000hz for the apex app?
I will have a go tonight and try to tweak my ads sensitivity.

Hi,

Wanted to share my feedback for this.

So I've tested two setups in Battlefield 1.
1. EXTREME - [email protected] - Off - 500/500 - Ballistics set to 54 for [email protected] cm
2. [email protected] - Default - HIP/ADS custom so I can do 360 in 40 cm

I've joined an empty server and tried to follow edges with my aim and the second config feels way better.
I manage to draw edges more smooth compared to first config. First config seems like it had some lag and it was not smooth at all.

Not sure if i am missing something.

Update-1: Forgot to mention hardware. Logitech G Pro on Cloth pad.

A little too late here. But just wondering if you have tried using Common instead of Default sync. (and if you still using this settings after all patches released)

It is clean. So is his Purist setup. I don't know why but I prefer low DPI.

Do you get any aim assist from his extreme setup?
I tried once, cant remember which one. But i was struggling a bit when using ARs. Shotties were sharp but ARs were a bit unpredictable...

After last released patch I did notice all work
Better,I will reccomend off sync and low dpi to best aim possible.Also turn ON option for running without L3 button,gameplay become smooth like never

Could you please explain why sync off and low dpi?

My sync is common for both ads and hip and I run everything in game max exept for my scope which is 0.80

Hello fellas.

Now with the Playground mode I was focusing on tune up my sensitivity.

While doing the "360 degree turn drill", I notice something:

If you place your mouse on a startup point A on your mouse pad (e.g. left edge), cross-hair in-game pointing to a reference point in the wall, then you move the mouse in a straight line, constant medium velocity until you do a full 360 turn, getting back to the same starting point of reference on screen.

At your mouse pad you travel from point A to point B. If you get back from point B to A (doing the turn in another direction). When you get back to the starting point of reference on screen: you are not back to the same spot (A) at the mouse pad. I'm about 2 cm off.

In another games like Battlefield 1, EA Battlefront 2015 and 2; if you do a full 360 turn and then get back, you will return to the same starting point at your mouse pad, not in Fornite BR.

I don't know if is only me or the game look mechanics, but that doesn't look like 1:1 movement.

I asking for you guys to try out.

Mouse Sensitivity: 12000 dpi / 1KHz pr
XIM Apex:  Sync  = Common / 1KHz rr
HIP Sense: 2

Is it by turning to HIP translator and keep the same sensitivity?

Under the ADS tab double click the activation key (1st click is listening second click puts it to none) so that nothing is selected.

I tried Mist and Dis settings. In my personal opinion if you prefer less sticky aim go for Mist. If you like more aim assist go for Dis settings.
Both work very well for me. But i still think tracking while ADS can be smoother on medium to long range. It is very tricky to find an optimal config atm.
