Game Support / Re: Destiny 2: Advanced Setup (20181210)

So he tell us to get the latest beta firmware and then we cant paste the code into that u telling me?

i have a analog keyboard logitech G13 and R600 ; do you think this firmware is so good really or not, i play 100% of my time in Blackout with your setup sync off ;
This firmware is a must-have upgrade. By default, it's exactly the same as the gold firmware with all of these new toys disabled by default. So if you use Sync Off and OBsIV's quantisation curves, you can continue to do so (I have).

But, let's say you wanted to use an acceleration curve with a touch of Boost and some Simulate Analog, remove the curve and play around with Steady Aim instead.

So basically, Steady Aim now removes the need for the curve so we can add other stuff on top of it. But, if you're happy with your current settings, upgrading the FW won't change anything, until you play around with the new toys.

IMHO, this is the biggest and best Xim FW released in a decade, with more capacity to tweak our settings than any other version. OBsIV has addressed everyone's concerns and delivered a killer update.
Wouldnt this "Simulate Analog" be a thing for Destiny also? Often I feel the movement in air much nicer with a nav compare to keyboard. Will this maybe open up that for new settings?

this is the best firmware we have had so far!
Simulate Analog Behaviour reduces the amount of issues with the aim assist to a minimum! :)

i can only recommend everyone to give this new version a try!
sounds promising, just have to wait for the mac version.😅

So do we Mac users need to install bootcamp to get the beta builds for the future? I just uninstall mine because there was both before..

I want to see how you built your settings with the nades wheel and consume wheel. As I don't get any nice easy to use feeling for those bindings at all. :(

If you use a mouse with 5 buttons like g403 and a keyboard, then its a big plus. but I ofc take what I get and take it from there..

Sorry for hogging the thread with not very useful information other than my 5 cents!

But it seems to be different experiences for everyone with the xim and division. I use a really old config from this site, i cant even remember wich one it is and have 0 issues, the only thing i had to do was fiddle around with the dpi/sens settings abit.

Only drawback is that the turnspeed is a bit funky to master when running and need to do a 180 turn but you learn to work around it. No problems with handling recoil either on any gun (on the other hand ive been using mouse/kb since the early 90´s). Dont know the experience of players using xim4, but you dont (like many people seems to think) get aimbot accuracy just by plugging in a mouse ;)

Using a G502 / orbweaver / XB1/ XB1X / Recommended settings ingame and AA off
Wanna share your settings with us to try it out? Cheers!

How do u setup the grenade and medkit wheel. What keybindings and are u using subprofil for the mouse to act better using what u want to use? Don't get any good feeling for it yet. Any hints for me? Thx

Thanks for sharing! I want to try this out, but I dont understand how to change the straight diagonal line in the ballistics section.

I know you have the code there, but I dont see where I copy/paste the lines of code.

Im using the android app because I use a Mac for my computer. Is there something I am missing?

Thanks for the help!!!
The straight line is the one he build the curve with. And don't effect how the curve works.

Thx pr0! Will sure try them out even if I like the first one u shared. :)

Never heard back from Cozmo or Mantis, sadly.

However, here are my adjusted ballistics curves: http://imgur.com/a/DI8P7

These are the same curves I used for the tourney qualifier on February 25th, in which I went 21-0 in one of the games. (Stating this so that others can use that fact as validity of the settings.)

Thanks Lupo. I'll have to try them this week and see how they work for me.

What DPI om mouse are you running?  12000 and 1000 Polling?
3500dpi dont know pulling rate tho.

A little help fellas, im getting a new xim4 today i only play bf1 and destiny. Which one of these firmwares work best with these 2 games, with or with out NPD? thanks

I would go without these firmwares to start and only apply them if you feel that you absolutely need them.
The only thing I wonder, doesn't games like destiny and bf1 benefits from the NPD? That's just a question from my side.

I'm using the latest firmware but it wouldn't matter as they all use the same translation tech. The others you are referencing are steady aim experimental builds. Actually, make sure Steady Aim is off when troubleshooting as well.
Mist, will u run a trainer for pvp as destiny have different look mechanic or did I get u wrong from DrLupos twitch?

The biggest problem with Destiny is the fact that Aim Assist is different for PvP then PvE. This is actually true for pretty much all games. But it's more evident with Destiny because we actually play both game modes ALOT more then we do with those other games. You really need two different setups for Destiny. If you build your setup around PvE then you're probably going to be over aiming ALOT in PvP. If you set everything up for PvP the the AA in PvE is going to feel really strong.

I will probably play some Destiny this weekend and run some test. But more then likely you're going to need a curve with this game no matter what SA build you're using.
If u get online this weekend with Destiny, pls share your thoughts on discord as many of us active players are online there quit often. Mostly of us are on ps4 but there sure are some x1 players as well.

I have been testing all of those builds even prior to this thread( back when RML started it on his Advance users thread).

Seems like everyone's favorite is the SA3. I have tried it for many hours. I liked it, though it felt a bit stiff  and less responsive than other builds SA4,5. But because my had have tons of micro movements that were creating jitter those builds were a bit to sensitive.

Now OMG. When i tried the SA3 with adding just the regular boost. F**k me, I have been owing XIM4 for like two years now. And never did it feel so good.
What game are u playing? Cod or others too?
