Hardware Compatibility / Re: Uppcoming Grifta controller in airmouse mode.

I've been in communication with Grifta and have some of their preproduction units so that we can be sure we are 100% compatible with them. The Antlers solution is something I'd like to look at in the future but it requires a camera (and a PC for the camera) which makes it more difficult of a solution for us right now.

This is really good news to hear. I supported Grift from the day the kickstarter went live so I have been waiting very patiently.

One of the main reasons was xim support, as it had been going on so long info on XIM support was very light so glad to hear that you have still be in conversation.

when I use the xim4, a few weapons in BF1 never fire for me. the flamethrower in any form and the sword while on horseback just never work. it strange because I don't think it effects every xim user. but it does effect xim4 and Xbox elite controller users the same for something they have in common. the click fire feature, aka hair triggers.

I recently have discovered why the flamethrower won't fire for me in BF1. turns out the game doesn't work well with hair trigger buttons to fire like those in the Xbox elite controllers. and the xim4 with a mouse click.

has anyone else experienced this? you hop in a flame tank or pick up the flame kit and it just won't shoot? the only reason I know it effects elite controller users is because I made a thread in the official BF1 servers asking if it effected anyone  else and elite controller users told me about the issue. and it seems to translate over to the same effect with the xim and a mouse click.

is there anything you guys can do to fix it?

Sorry to hear that dude. I had the same problem in the beta. Works fine for me now though. Ok Xbox one using a Logitech g502 with no drama.

May be a silly thing but you know the flamethrower spools up a bit first as your holding the button down?

lol. I'm in between training runs right now and loaded BF4 ST and it doesn't feel too bad. I adjusted the YX Ratio to .70 and it seemed playable.

I've done about 34 hrs with the BF4 ST and I made not a single change. I am more than happy with it at the moment.

Averaging 30% accuracy (with smgs and dmr) so can't complain really.

Sure the official will be nice little upgrade.

Since the last BF4 vehicle update I actually didn't use a curve at all. I removed the curve and boost and only adjusted the sensitivity.

Same--- BF4 is really the only game I play (1400hrs and about 700 of those with an XIM4). The vehicle sensitivity update was one of the best things in recent memory. So nice not to have a second profile. I tend to only gun if I'm in a vehicle but this is just so easy now.

XIM 4 Discussions / Re: Wireless Nav and latest firmware.

Wireless Nav is fully working in the latest build which is from Nov 10.  However, there was another issue with the build, so they suspended it, and it is no longer available for download.  A new FW is supposed to be out this weekend that will have fixes for why the last was pulled.

Sweet thanks. Will hold tight. Over a year a little longer won't hurt.

XIM 4 Discussions / Wireless Nav and latest firmware.

Hiya. Ive have my xim for over a year and put a couple thousand hours through it. I am ashamed to admit I've never updated my firmware.

I have neglected it recently as I head the wireless for the Sony Nav was broken. Was this fixed? Is key for me as I use a combo of mouse nave and orbweaver (hot keys ect).

Is this all sorted with the latest firmware. My set up is really dependent on keeping my Nav wireless.

What I'm using at the moment. It works. I need to tweak it a bit on mappings but will do for the Beta.

Sure on full release and when the game is officially supported it will be much better thought.

wait the summer patch is out already???

yup. Today.

Just played. Cranked vehicle look sensitivity up to 100 and feels good. Only quick five mins on test range but feels like I can make do with it as a gunner without needing a separate vehicle config like I was using.


Then played a quick round as infy and the update has made things feel very sharp. That can be the back end stuff they have done but the servers always feel better after a full shutdown anyway.

Have 919 hours in this game and still love it even after a two month hiatus to ESO.
